Sugar binds with water, retains moisture and makes baked softer and last longer and not become dry and stale. It also inhibits gluten developement. Honey is liquid and is sweeter. 1 cup sugar, use 2/3 cup honey and decrease other liquids by 1/4 cup.

Hi from NZ, I got a Thermomix a few months ago and loving it. Thanks for the videos they are great. Can you please tell me where you got your spice containers and rack system you have? I have been looking for something like that.

Hi Julia. It is an awesome spice rack and it has travelled in the caravan with us and endured two house moves and is still like new and going strong. Thermomix once sold them in the mix shop, however they no longer do. You can find them these days on Amazon who seem to have the best pricing on them. I have had so many people ask over the years that I have signed up as an affiliate with Amazon Aus purely for the spice racks. You can check it out on the links below.
Each row of containers is on a grey plastic backing that I have attached to a wood board so they are all held together.
I have four rows of the smaller-sized containers that have six across - amzn.to/3RSE7CS
Then two rows of the larger containers that only fit 4 across - amzn.to/48tzq9E
I do have a spare smaller-sized row in the cupboard and it hosts my rarely used spices - it didn't fit on the wood unfortunately so in my older videos pre2021 you can see I attached it directly to the wall below the rest.
The price for you through Amazon does not change using the links, it is just a little bonus Amazon pays me if people use my link to buy. If you decide to buy them, I hope you love them as much as I do. Have a lovely weekend and feel free to ask any further questions you have :) Lisa
