- Our trip to the tip starting from cairns. Waterfalls, Dirt roads, coconuts, and great camping. Some must see spots on the way to the tip. This can all be explored with a caravan in tow.

Our daughter thinks all of the Australian coast line looks like a scene out of Mako Mermaids 🧜♀️ 😆 🤙🏄♀️🏄♂️🌊🌞

nice vid mate how do you find towing the camper on such a trip, ive got dmax as well and looking into getting the mdc forbes 13 cheers
Thanks Jayden the D Max handles the van very well! we put the ute in 4 low up the incline and declines on the Bloomfield track and had no issues. A Forbes would look great behind your D Max they look like a great bit of kit. That combo would take you just about any where. Hope to see you out there!!
We are about to head to Cape York and were wondering if it will be doable in the camper. How'd you find the crossings and steep climbs?
CAMP THE COAST you will have a blast!! Definitely achievable with a camper we seen a heap of them and you can always leave it at a station up there like we did if your not keen on towing along the tracks. The tracks would change each year but we found most of the water crossings had solid bases and there is always chicken tracks. If you want any more info on specifics don’t hesitate to message.
