It took me a bit to get used to the control changes last night, but once I did I started noticing all these little improvements (in Sunshine at least) -- They put a lot more thought and care into this game than some people would believe!
They made all these games play and run the way they were meant to originally! It's not perfect, of course, but I'm happy!

Walmart never gets games on time. Would be nice since I work overnight and it's the only store open when I get out of work, but unfortunately, I've only ever wasted my time. They don't even know anything about videogames whenever I ask about new games. I ended up preordering with Target, though I still have to wait a few days.

To all those that believe Nintendo have changed Mario's 'so long gay bowser' for this game, they didn't... This game is based on the Shindou version - a Japanese 1997 re-release. This re-release already had the changed audio, and other things like a patch for the backwards long jump glitch. In fact, 3D all-stars uses an emulator to run that exact version, just with patched HD textures. Some glitches from 1997 release are still in this 'Switch' version

I remember 64 being really clunky, and Mario's most formidable enemy was the game's stupid camera. The Shindou version must have incorporated some quality of life tweaks from just having more experience with 3D games, because this feels worlds better than how I remember it.

Pre Ordered mine on Best Buy a while back and it arrived a couple of hours ago. I’m loving this collection so far! Can’t wait to see how all the games progress since I’ve never beaten them before.
I played SM64 DS as a kid, I was one Bowser-throw away to beating the story, but my thumb always managed to get tired from turning the joystick.
It still feels stupid that this is only for a limited time.

The blue coins in Sunshine are apparently annoying. I've never completed it so I don't know how bad it really is

If you’re wondering about Mario’s face on SM64 and how to use it...
1. Press A to bring up the hand.
2. Press A again to move parts of his face.
3. (The tricky part) Hold L to hold the parts in place, let go when done.
4. For extras, press X or Y to zoom in/out, and ZL/ZR to go into “TV Mode”
If you know any other tricks, please let me know.

Tbh playing Sunshine with a GameCube controller is still pretty acceptable tho. I played some earlier and it wasn’t terribly noticeable...
@@raygrantiii bruh that's so bs, they changed the button layout so the abxy buttons don't do what they originally did, not to mention that they changed the aim and ground pound to 2 buttons that don't even exist on the original gc controller.
The only reason there's even a gamecube controller for switch is for Smash fans who refuse to use anything else
