We’ll be selling our unit soon at Sakura (sought after South Granville) with pro active strata .. just under 1.2 for 850 sq foot 15 years old only! Moving back downtown if we can

Owen do the lenders help or defer payments for landlords, especially mom and pops, who have tenants who refuse to pay rent? I'm hearing horror stories in Ontario.

No, the Covid deferral was a one off.

dream on, maybe you should take Ravi off our hands. You'll see a big spike in Horror stories if you land him as housing minister. He and Eby are the two worst thinkers to ever grace BC politics

Banks in Canada are fairly accomodating in my experience and yes if you have equity in the property can make adjustments to your payments or perhaps defer for a period of time it depends on the situation.

Those who wait to purchase a real estate property. Be very careful. The rent is very high. It is crazy high. If buying a property at 3.5% makes more sense than living on high rent. People will buy. If the investors can yield 5% or higher by renting their investment property. Investors will buy. We are not there yet, but if the history says anything, lower interest rates always bring in more buyers to the real estate.
