I tend to travel a lot an bring a lot more because I don't want to have a problem that I can't resolve
So I have a small tool kit with some wire, pre-Made powerpole stubs, wire caps, tape etc
I bring a tape measure to check the length on my whip antenna as I adjust bands
Lots more too, but I tend to separate out into what's needed on site, in car and back at where I'm staying
For example chargers stay at the hotel, mag mount stays in car, extra coax in car, tool kit in car, etc etc

These are all great! I knew I was going to only be hitting 1 or 2 parks so I left the charger at home, but I wish I brought an EFHW antenna with me, I ended up having some antenna issues while in Delaware, I was able to make it work to get the park activated but having a simple wire antenna would have been a nice backup to have. Thanks for the things to add in to my travel kit, 73, Kevin

Tiny nuance, TSA battery limit is 2x 100wH, TSA rules allow individual airlines to optionally permit 2x 160wH
    I haven't seen a major airline yet that doesn't allow 160
I've also never had TSA even look at my batteries, much less read the label

Yeah I've never had they TSA bat an eye at the battery. Prior to having TSA Precheck I got stopped once for not taking all of my electronics out of my bag, and once because they weren't sure what my Rig Expert Stick Pro was since I was carrying it in a Milsurp pouch I guess it could have been suspicious looking, but never had an issues with the batteries. Thanks for watching, 73, Kevin
