In Premiere Pro, the motion controls panel and Transform effect allow you to adjust various parameters of a clip, such as position, scale, rotation, and opacity. If you're looking to adjust the horizontal (X) position of a clip, you would typically use the "Position" parameter, which controls both the X and Y position of the clip on the screen.
To adjust the position of a clip in Premiere Pro👇:
► Select the clip on the timeline.
► Go to the "Effect Controls" panel (usually found in the top-left corner of the workspace).
► If the clip is scaled or rotated, you might see a "Motion" tab. Expand this tab.
► Look for the "Position" parameter. This will have two values: one for the X position and one for the Y position.
► Adjust the X position value to move the clip horizontally.
The value of X position always depends on your specific needs.
