I implemented this effect and it worked, until I rendered and exported. In the rendered exported version it just freeze frames during the part where the offset roll is, I dont understand why it works when its not rendered but doesnt when it is.

How do you do it with multiple images? SO the shift effect shifts through multiple images instead of the same image over and over until it gets to the second image.
@@alicepayne174 its because its too slow i guess, when you set the in out points in the timeline and then press enter to render the clip , you can then see how actually the effect is being in place ( as the timeline will be green highlighted instead of red or yellow ) now make the values accordingly

I had the same issue, instead of 16000 for the offset I tried much higher number and 32000 worked for me
