Been to Riddle of Steel Couple times and trained with Master Keating. Life changing! To this day all the things I've learned from him are with me. I'm 61 years old and my years training with Master Keating was in my 30s. Now I share these things to my kids and Grand kids.
I was able to make the trek up to Milton-Freewater a few years ago and do a week or so with Uncle Jim. Unbelievable amount of information, like a fire hose. If your a weapons based martial arts practitioner (FMA, WMA, Bowie) I highly recommend making the journey. It’s like going to Dagobah and finding Yoda.
i have knives, i was trying to learn how to use them for protection but between work and driving everyone around i haven't got the time. if there are videos of this training i would buy them

I read about this in my 20's, it has stuck with me ever since. Trained Filipino, but love the large knife as well. I had no idea it was still alive.
