As a retired teacher who has lots of experience with overheads, I’ll make a note that there is a front and back to these. The front has a little more tooth and is intended to hold on to the ink better. Just something to keep in mind if you’re wondering why some come out different than others.

I think the best thing that has happen to me was when I found you on TH-cam. I have been enjoying your videos a lot and being back in treatment is going to give me mor time to play on my gel plate(I not been able to work because of a tumor in my brain but they did remove it 2 weeks ago and I can now work)so I’ll be doing the book next week. I experiment with transparencies a lot; cyanotype , silk screen / gelli print combos, etc

Not gel print. But i ran some through my printer. It took months to not rub off the sheets. Ugh... ink was slowwwwwwwww

Gotta use the right transparency for your printer. I didn’t know that the first time I printed a transparency and I was too impatient to wait and it ended up doing this really weird smudgy thing so I wiped off the extra ink and it came out looking really neat. It was the colour of vintage scotch tape, so I saved it and use little bits of it to mimic old tape here and there in my projects. Of course I coulda done the same thing with alcohol inks, so I’m going to try that when I run out of this batch. Nothing gets wasted 🎉😊
