Well since we're doing this paralogue, I got REALLY bored one time and decided during my Blue Lions run to just have Flayn learn nothing but fists all playthrough then on NG+ Golden Deer, I used renown and all my stat booster items on her to have her punch through everything. This was around the time the Cindered Shadows DLC came out so good timing for me to turn her into a War Cleric lmao
Having all 3 Bishops stuck on healing tiles made this one of the easiest missions I’ve ever did that weapon proficiency grinding exploit on. Normally, I try to lure enemy units with Renewal to a Heal Tile, a 30%/40% Avo Tile, or a Stronghold Tile which is basically both. Here, *three* of them stick to Heal Tiles. This also does away with an issue I come across when I try to grind with multiple units. Normally, there’s only 1 unit with Renewal, meaning all the units I try to grind with huddle up together, causing Linked attacks to happen. Linked attacks raise accuracy, the lack of which is one of the reasons why the exploit I use works so well. Not counting magic based units, broken weapons can yield attacks strong enough to one-round enemies this late into the game, especially if they’re equipped with a battalion that grants Crit. Thankfully, having 3 Bishops with Renewal so far apart means that Linked attacks are heavily reduced, and I can grind until I run out of DPs or patience, which ever comes first. I think this is the only paralogue I ever managed to reach 99 turns on because of this.

I want to make a joke about you falling short of doing Ashe and Catherine's Paralogue. But I think even Alois would groan at it.
one could say byleth has divine timing 😂
These sacred weapons are still useful without crests?
Yeah I'd say they are. They don't hurt non-crest users like the relics do.
