I was wondering how Encore Une Fois compares to Celine Black Tie as far as a vanilla fragrance. I understand that Black Tie is not sweet, not gourmand? Is Coty a Gourmad Vanilla?

The new miss dior is not for me I tried it twice and I just didn’t like it. The price is really steep too 💕 I have miss dior Cherie the og and it just doesn’t compare. Great review as always 💕

I really appreciate that you take into account and critique also the price of a perfume. I totally agree that while a perfume can be nice or lovely, if it has a high price point than I expect that it goes beyond just being nice and lovely. It has to distinguish itself in some way.

I understand that the price of pretty much everything has skyrocketed since COVID started simmering down (so to speak), but these designer fragrances are getting major side eye from me right now. Niche scents has always been on another level that you expect ridiculous prices but designer fragrances should be that one little indulgence that the majority of working folks can enjoy purchasing without feeling guilt or having to scrimp for weeks. Unless a designer scent is in a private collection line, I can't ever see myself paying nearly $200 dollars and even then that scent better blow my socks off lol.

I'm glad to see you mentioning Granado. This brand is very traditional in Brazil, and I'd never imagine I'd see someone out of Brazil talking about Granado fragrances. Mind blowing 🤯.

I love this series you do! I ordered a travel size of 312 Saint Honore when it launched, and sometimes I really like it, and sometimes I don't. I get a lot of the lovely orange blossom, but the ambroxan has a tendency to take everything over. I have a bottle of L'eau Papier, and I really love that

I didn't dislike love delight or narcotic delight but for the price they are a "meh". Thank you for factoring that in and for clearly stating PR samples. I feel the transparency is necessary.

I love seeing the Brazilian house of Granado here!! In reais to pounds, it should cost at most 30£, but I suppose the shipping makes the cost go higher. Gorgeous colognes, I love this house! Very traditional in Brazil, specially in Rio!! Kisses from Brazil ❤🇧🇷
I love Granado Colognes and have a few from Liberty so will pick up the Fig. Nice to see a range of price points referenced. I have an array of spendy and not spendy and like to be wise if I’m going big. The BDK is amazing and on my list. ❤️ Yes to Coty review

I bought Encore Une Fois after seeing your reaction. I agree completely, one of the best vanillas I have ever smelled! It's wearing a bit light at the moment, but I'm sure over time it will strengthen.
Omg, I'm brazilian and I almost fell out of the chair when you said "Granado". I looove the brand and they have perfums and colognes really differents. I recomend too "o Boticário", wich has "Privée", "Eliseé" and "Alchemists" in they repertoire. I follow you more like a 1 years and its the first time I see you talking about brazilian fragrances, if you can say more about it I will be really happy. ♥

I tried Encore Une Fois and it is beautiful, the cosy vanilla I've been looking for! I also really liked the new BDK 312 perfume, it gives off rich French lady vibes 😅
I did a double take when you mentioned ''good'' and ''Coty''; I got my late Mom a bottle of L'Aimant back in the 70's and it was about £5 and she liked it but I could never stand it. I'm sure this new range are much better and look forward to your reviews! x

When you talk about Granado it makes me picture like a Roger & Gallet style cologne. Is that about right? I remember one of these videos in the past where you charted ratings of your reviews. I really liked that visual if you ever feel like bringing it back. But love these!!

L'interdit Tubéreuse Noir...alors deja je n'aime pas le parfum l'interdit 😅...mais cette version...je l'adore l'adore, sur moi la note de café et tubéreuse brûlé/fumé ressort et donne un jus tres intéressant, une belle découverte qui a rejoint ma collection 😊

Bonjour Jus de Rose! I totally agree with you on the Initio Narcotic Delight. I don't know if it is just my skin, but woody and tobacco notes get way amplified and if mixed with sweet fruity and syrupy it makes me want to scrub it off. Maybe a "en passant" whiff of tobacco and cherry liquor from my uncles pipe smell is ok, but just not to wear for hours on skin. Would you do a review of best Strawberry note fragrances? Merci!
