I’m in the process of setting up a saw sharpening station! I have the grinder and I ordered the wheel dressers. I been watching how to set the teeth! I enjoying watching your saw-milling and building! “Happy sawing “

Should have hollowed that one out and made a canoe or kayak rather than lumber.... that my guess will more than likely resemble Ski's when they start drying. But I'm sure you can find a use for them.
Fantastic job on sharpening and milling too.
    Cheers.

I kinda figured a grinder would do it, I'd sacrifice an older sharpened blade. Good job, im a try it. 👍👍

good video and job. looks like you have got it right you have it shaped right and have your angle right that the main thing. i have the woodland mills sharpener and tooth setter both were over$900 2 years ago. i put a old style dial on the tooth setter the digial one reset it self in middle of setting blade. you can buy the hand setters but they take a while to set teeth. i live in rocky mount va. i would let you use my tooth setter for nothing. take care, be safe and well.

Masterfully done! When I sharpen, it takes me an hour fifteen

I do not take that long because after a couple of sharpenings, my blades usually break.

@@thetennesseefrugalcraftsma7383 Just 2 sharpenings per blade? so 3 uses total? When you say break, do you mean literally snap? or just losing their effectiveness?

@@eitantal726 They snap. I get about 10 hours out of most blades.

@@thetennesseefrugalcraftsma7383 Odd. I never had a blade snap on me. Blade dulling? Sure. Blade drifting up&down? Sure. Blade snapping? Never.

@@eitantal726 It may be a defect in the saw. I think the drive wheels are not properly aligned. Just a thought.

Howdy brother- I had wondered if you sharpened your own blades. I watched a video of Hoods Woodshop sharpening his blades with the same setup and it seemed to work well for him. I have been using a Dremel and it’s really slow and you have to have a steady hand. I think I’m going to follow suit and rig up a setup like yours. Thanks for sharing this. Hope you have a great week. God bless

Yes, a dremel would take a long time. This is much easier although doing more than three or four at a time is hard on the hands.
