If you look closely at those perks in formation, they also offer you DEF which is a good bonus except boosting formation tiers and slots.
With so many formations in hand, tw might add an option to convert 1 resonator or hologram into another type (just like they do with formation papers)

Honestly, I'm surprised all the formations have the same 5 slots being effected. You should be able to pick which 5 slots are affected by the formation. Would add so much more strategy.

It’s a possibility. But in the long run , it’s good if you can decide on which slot you will use all your HT , to push that slots buffs with the formations. It’s cheaper and very effective
Just makes it harder to get shark and scorpion items from those chests that give random items.

A comment and a question:
Scorpion counterattack (scorpion tier 3+) cannot be triggered by heavy troopers. This means specialization level 5 would be wasted on a heavy trooper, and putting a heavy trooper in slots 1, 2, 3, 5, or 8 of scorpion disables that counterattack potential. Also a waste.
Eagle specialization 5 also does not work with heavy troopers. Another formation where heavies inside 1,2,3,5,8 can waste potential (but see below).
Question: Do you think Rivergame understands that formations only help make the gap from tiny spenders (anyone who can only afford exclusive skills 7 or less) and the whales even bigger? Example: You can afford Exclusive Skills 7, but you have no slots with Specialization 5 (or even 4). But all the whales have max level (50) , max tier (10) formations and the specialization slots at level 5. It's pointless for 99.9% of us to talk about the specialization level 5 stuff, although I see many people use that to compare formations. 😅
You are absolutely correct . For us , normal players, use the upgrades of scorpion / eagle for ,more talent points

The calculation is simple : when it is burning, it loses the same number of HP each second, and gains them back when not on fire.
Repairing puts out the fire out (1 time per cooldown), it gets on fire when receiving a hit goes through the defense.
Massive htis has two purposes
1) It allows to puts the fire back RIGHT after repairs, instead of waiting for the march to do the entire trip
2) It prevents the opponents to build up a strong defense for the moment they launch the repair
But BURNING FASTER? Nope, it simply prevents repairs from being an option.
So basically for new players the cost to become competitive will be a third more…
Not quite a correct perspective. As the new battle events on small group basis (similar to TC legends ) will offer a FAR better gaming experience then now .
You should NOT meant players which are stronger then you very often

Guys i finally wuit after 1 year. Can't keep up because i am free to play. I got burnt in el by opposite war zone idk how. 4 51M cp players attacked me. I was only 29.9M cp with hrof 9 and not a proper march. I deleted my accounts. Bs TW devs
Yes. Took them 4 years to understand that the game needs match making and still many battle events (EL/TA) are extremely bad match making
