The lack of blue equipment chests is the only thing that concerns me about this event
Flippy was definitely a great way to boost your material production without having to pay real money. I've heard a lot of people upset about that

I have collect transformer emblem up to 780..just 219 more to be able to get base skin. if the emblems doesnt get reset im planning to keep it until next transformer event
There is no guarantee of a new transformers event and also no guarantee that those tokens would even work for it. Spend them before you lose them

I really appreciated your analysis of the Deep Chest event and how you clearly showed that 2 slots us the sweet spot for Gems per Shard..
Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to do that because a few weeks ago I stopped spending entirely. So I'm trying to hold on to all the gems I have so I can test future events since I'm getting gems very slowly now. I've noticed myself drifting away from the game even having a few days where I didn't even do my dailies. I've gotten very frustrated with top war as of late
All i can say is deep sea hunting is still at number 1. By spending 5500 gems you can get 35 to 60 shards. Depending on your luck. I got 48 this time. Highest i have ever got was around 60

I had a decent 1st and 2nd day with this one over all ... average cost per universal shard was around 160 to 170 gems .. but there were plenty of people who had bad days on my server .. hope it turns around for anyone having bad days.. lol thanx for the video!!

I got supper lucky with my first draw getting around 150 gems per gold shard, my second draw then jumped up to 320. I do like the universal shards in the second draw though since it is the only way to get exclusive skills for hero's like megatron (to my knowledge) for free to play players. Overall I am a fan of this event, I would definitely be sad if it replaces flippy but would love if both would stay in rotation.
That's a fair critique. This is the best way to get exclusive skillshards I've seen that doesn't require real money

I think you should also consider the exclusive shards that you can get from this event. You get a few here and there regularly. For me tho, I got three shard boxes as one of my grand rewards and when I opened them I got 1100 exclusive shards. I like lucky numbers more than Flippy.
Everyone likes it when they get the lucky thousand pull out of a box that gives 10 to a thousand. I do like that there's exclusive skillshards in the event. However I don't like that you have to spend around 16 to 18,000 gems because it's in the second round

Thanks for the breakdown. By the way, unrelated question: for the arms race daily quests, they removed the combat power increase quest and replaced it with vitality consumption. Do you think there's a chance they'll bring it back?
I don't think there is a chance they will bring it back. They got rid of it when they introduced the new CP system. So your normal CP is too difficult to raise on demand and even if they based it off of troop CP that's basically just another training event

I got 89 golden shards for 15390 gems. So far it is a good event for me. And you forgot in video to mention that besides golden shard you got other rewards as well, like exclusive skill shards. I got 200+ exclusive skill shards and some other not much significant stuff. But overall golden shards + exclusive skill shards makes this event looks nice in comparison with Flippy Cards. Will see the second day of the event.
I did mention in the video that there were other rewards but I was focusing on the exclusive skillshard since that's the main part of this event. But this is the best way for people to get exclusive skillshards without having to pay real money
I think that .... During Flippy ... The Bi-Product along with UOS was Level 5 component .... For this event ... The Bi-Product is Universal Skill Shards ... Developers might be managing it accordingly .... Assuming that everyone now already has good components and might be searching alternatives to get Universal Skill Shards ....
Not everybody would have good components because there's constant leading new players being added to the game and also Flippy gave you the opportunity to get equipment via blue material. This event just made it easier for the whales to keep five starring new heroes and while those exclusive skills are nice you'll spend a lot of time working on one hero as a budget player while the whales already have the newest hero five-star day one
I think you can still get some 'budget shards', because the gem - shard return is okáy in the first few pulls. You just should not try to aim for the final chest(s).
NB. This is based on gut feeling from what I've seen while getting a feel on how the event works. I haven't actually checked/tested it. i.e. it could be an interesting event to get shards relatively cheap. However, if this were to be true, the shard quantity would be very low
I have heard people say something similar. But I agree it would be a very low shard count and flippy would be better. You can do a small amount into flippy every day where this event once you've done part of the first round the cost shoots up if it is indeed cheaper early on. And then who knows when you're able to do that first round for gold shorts again

As for moving your city. If you have a teleport just click and empty space while having an your marches inside your base and it will give you the option

Without adding in the extra rewards and the main chest rewards at the 100k final round and only counting the gold shards your information for growth is skewed as you always need the rare skills and other rewards to truly grow in this game. Shards for perks is a permanent growth same as rare skills. Hero’s will change in time so players who over spend on hero’s and don’t work on the permanent buffs will not be growing at their top growth rate regardless if they are spenders or F2P. So for new players work on comps, skill levels for size dmg + and dmg - as these are permanent upgrades but stay with your free heros till you have your full set of perks as again this is a permanent upgrade. Then you will begin to collect shards for the better hero’s. Megaton and Optimus work for all army types so grab them when the transformer event comes around. Being a partner with topwar these hero’s will be around for along time. That’s my opinion on what will help both the spenders and F2P players do well in the game and enjoy it more. I always preach to do perks before upgrading heroes however there does come a time that you need to upgrade a hero. And then you will need universal orange shards. Flippy was the best way to do so for a free or budget player because you can get them cheaper when compared to this event. Regardless of the other benefits to this event. Flippy was the best way to get universal orange shards for a free to play or budget player and now that may have been taken away. Also late game those rare skills have a significantly lower return with how long it takes to level things up and how little you get for actually leveling them up. If you want to make an argument for this event the exclusive skillshards are a much better argument however even then you still need shards to upgrade those heroes that are going to hold those skills in the first place unless you're going for passive increases. I'm still using outdated heroes because I was working on perks but there comes a point that those outdated heroes no matter what your perks or other base stats are. Just isn't enough.
And I would also like to restate my objection to this event is the fact that the orange shards got cheaper for the whales but more expensive for the budget and free to plays. It is an increasing imbalance in the game that I have an issue with
I am also not happy about this if they decide to replace flippy... Flippies are definitely more manageable in my case... 🙏

I hear from some players that Megatron works only when it has exclusive skill level 05. My Budget for spending this game is 300 USD. Megatron Exclusive Skill costs me 250 USD. should I have to purchase Level 5 exclusive skill of Megatron or spent on others.
(Note: My Megatron is not Fully perked)
You should spend on something that's going to be a permanent bonus. Top war always releases a new hero that's stronger than previous heroes. So if you spend money on Megatron's exclusive skill eventually he'll be outdated in that money will have basically been wasted. Instead focus on things that are permanent for example his level 3 skill gives a passive global damage either increase or decrease I forget which. That's worth it because you don't have to have them in your March for that bonus. We're getting an exclusive skill to level 5 for a hero that has a passive damage increase or decrease. Of the heroes that have those bonuses most of them are a level 5 Megatron is the only one that has it at level 3
The only problem I have this this event. Is u have to get the number to 100k in order to have good rates. Impossible if u have 1-5k gems

Sometimes i think devs just want to fk up something nice so they get to fix something later to make it looks like they are doing something to improve. They work like contractors. Keep fixing the same issue without actually fixing it so they can keep fixing it.
I think they're just trying to find ways to squeeze even a little bit more money out of the whales. The beginning of the game is nice and easy and get you hooked and addicted with small packs that give you huge rewards and then they find ways to squeeze more as you have played the game longer

If you stop at 2000 or 10.000 that's under 200 gems per shard. However that's not a lot of shards.
I'll have to give that a go. But even when every check point was universal shards I didn't have that rate

I didn't spend as much as you would think. Weekly gem card, monthly card, my alliance does the small Droid every day, and I don't spend any gems for 2-3 months at a time.

I collected 999 emblems from “forward unto dawn” event and I want to use it to get a new base skin. But which one?
I am navy only. I already have the following base skins
- shadow dragon
- super miner

You can try phantom ship for navy. Even ark is also a better one and is a rare one to get.
I would have three options.
Training base if you want quick recovery and longevity during eternal lands.
VN1 forerunner for a solid defense base as well as making shields last longer or doing larger hospital traps.
Or neotopia for the VIT recovery so you can get more rewards from VIT related events

But what about Zh-2 conqueror? In holding stock it increases the VIT limit by 20. Plus it has good attack and defence for navy when equipped.
The reason why I ask is because when I play the game and use up my VIT of 139 i usually don’t come back to the game until 12 hrs later, but the VIT recovers fully in about 8 hours. Meaning there are 4 hours where the VIT is just sitting there idle. If my VIT limit was bigger at 159 then it would take longer to fill and I would have more to use, which is fine because I have that 4 hr gap where it can fill up from 139 to 159.
Selecting neotopia means that my VIT will be restored quicker, which is good but I can’t use it until I open the app and play which like I said is about 12 hrs since the I played it last. So the VIT recovery of neoptopia won’t benefit me...am I right?
Would you still go for neotopia over the ZH-2? I’m just wondering whether neotopia has a benefit over ZH-2 that I’m not seeing?

That sounds like a good reason to get the conqueror. If that's what your schedule demands there's nothing wrong with it
from the last 2 flippy events, I couldn't get golden cards within the 5 free flips. I have to spend 100 gems to 300 gems to get 1 golden cards. I think Top War had changed the chances of golden cards appearing in flippy. This looks better than flippy.
I've had bad luck but if I only do the 100 gem refreshes I usually walk away ahead
I think it's the same with this Lucky Numbers. You have to play up to certain amount to be ahead. If you play until 100.000, it will end up more expensive for the gold shards.

You had the latter, particularly with your last round. That was just terrible. I've done 2 rounds and averaged 260 gems per shard each time.
I assumed my first two rounds were more in line with the norm. That's why I was quoting 250 to 300 gems per shard as the cost.
Our server never got this.
I got lucky 7k gems and got almost 90+ including from the lucky box that gave me 20 shards so got 70 from event itself

Here are my personal values for the items that I would generally be okay paying in Gems: Premium Vouchers-75, Rare Skill Chests-25, 1-hour Training Speedups-15, Level 1 Component Chests-15, Exclusive Skill Shards-30, Universal Orange Shards-150.
Based on these numbers, every "roll" has a value of 59.84 Gems!!
Even if you weighted Universal Orange Shards at 200, it's only worth about 63 Gems.
Horrific!! And, sadly, typical of Top War.
I agree. The only thing that some other people brought up that this event brings to the table is the exclusive skill shards which you can't really get in any large amount for free anywhere else. But since only one round has them it's not worth it. Nor do I think getting rid of the best way to get universal shards (flippy) would be worth getting exclusive skillshards in exchange
Idk.... i turned out better numbers on this than i do on flippy. Flippy i can expect 12-16 shards on a good day..... this has easily given me 20+ daily so far. The drawback to numbers where i would prefer flippy though is prize flexibility. Maybe i need some extra vit in a pinch or im trying to tie off something in my perk tree and i can target class items.... i havent seen that with this event..... and im not impressed with the new radar. I like the idea of incorporating more stuff.... but its not enough to make it worth grinding it more

@@WGtopwar i only had just shy of 8k to complete the first round with... maybe 9, there were two alliance gifts in there i think.... its more than what flippy usually got, but that was also highly based on what decks i could get to propogate.
If the Basic Speed of Vit RECOVERY increases from 50% then what happened? As I calculate it if we use the same method then mathematically it shows if the Basic Speed of Vit RECOVERY increases from 50% then overall speed starts to decrease.
And if I am wrong then what is difference between BASIC SPEED OF VIT RECOVERY and VIT RECOVERY SPEED?
I have asked top war, their Facebook, their discord, their mods, more than one dev and I have not received a consistent answer. As a matter of fact I believe other than the people who said I don't know everyone had a different answer. So all I can say is higher numbers are good 😆

That is up for some debate. 591 arguably held that title for a while however they were recently beat by 770. However there are some servers above a thousand that have gotten surprisingly strong that haven't had a chance to fight those old servers yet I believe 1112 is one of them. 851 is also an incredibly strong server. But I'm on server 988

I got 31 Golden Shards by spending 6 thousand Gems. In my case gems per Golden Shard is less than 200 gems

I didn't pay super close attention to the first several rounds...my luck was definitely better than yours.
Still, it's ridiculously expensive.
The way I see it, after having paid more attention, is that it is a slightly more cost-effective way to get the items offered.
If you want to spend loads of Gems, you can collect a ton of items fast.
That said, I'm not keen on it and if it is replacing Flippy, I'll definitely be pissed. Flippy was a way for me to get Blue Material Choice Chests fairly inexpensively, with a few Orange Shards gained on the side.
I completed 5 cycles of this and have barely spent on it since. I have little interest in burning Gems I need for Shard Farming and repairing units in big events...
I agree if you're spending a ton of gems this event is fantastic. But if you're not dumping a ridiculous amount of gems for everyone else it's nowhere near what flippy could do for you. Plus flippy you could pick some of your rewards
Nah I don't like it, when it is along side with events like transformers, I can only put somewhere around 3200 gems for the whole length of the event, this many gems were enough to get a plethora of items in flippy, but the only thing good in this event is universal shards, and if lucky univ exclusive here and there, I don't feel it's free to play, it maybe for whales cause they don't need to spend much now but for free to play, especially ones around VIP 0 to VIP6-7, it's clearly a downgrade from flippy, we don't put 10ks of gems on events, we want to maximize rewards in our own humble range, Events are supposed to entertain f2p, that's how you market your game, making it's more favourable for whales is dumb, you ain't getting more money from them, and they ain't many to get your game popular either
I think this game is going to do the same thing that many other phone games have done is they continue to over monetize things to the point where it kills the game and then they move on and make another game just like it to repeat the process

I think you're right. Top War never makes an official statement saying that an event has been replaced but I'm pretty confident this is probably replacing Flippy unless there's a big enough backlash

I would say the complete opposite, as a free to play player this allows us to get exclusive skill shards which are very hard to come by for free.
While exclusive skillshards are awesome. Whales being able to upgrade all the new heroes faster means that they'll be able to keep their accounts updated rather than spending a ton of time working on a single exclusive skill.

135000 gems!? Time to update your “how to get gems video”! I win one event per week (sometimes 2 or 3) and average around the 2200 a week income. Plus my 900 per day for packs. Yet I can’t come close to that!
And your analysis of TW switching to a “spend more to gain more” isn’t exactly a surprise. They are trying to attract a more “elitist” group of players.
I do need to update that video but it's mostly the weekly gem pack, My alliance doing the small Droid every day, and not spending gems on nearly anything except the one event I want to play. I often go two to three months without spending gems.
I don't think it's necessarily an attempt to attract elitist players. Because even people who end up spending money don't generally come to a game specifically to spend money they start out with a small pack and then get addicted from there. I think it's them trying to more effectively monetize the players who have already been playing while they go easy on the newer servers and let them get addicted.

@@WGtopwar From the second stage reward, we got 3 skill box and few skill shard from each level. But I had no luck with the 25 boxes of the transformer event emblem. I traded 500 emblems for 25 skill boxes and I only got 800 shards. 🥲

I wish it doesn't replace flippy, Why replace a likable event? You want to try something new, but clearly you are way too adamant and coward to set things right when they mess up, Maximo was over the charts when it was released, so much resistance yet they didn't budge, these are kind of people who shouldn't try new stuff cause once they make their mind, nothing in the world would change it 😂 some events donot come with an expiry date, that's the kinda event flippy is.
