Well done Dean with those rays I fished Ladye Bay for 20 years and only ever had one thorny. My favourite spot would always produce me cod and whiting and only ever had one strap. Mind you cast further than me 😊
Good video Dean , one of my favourite marks that I was happy to drive the 160 miles to fish. Had a few cod into double figures from there with most coming around two and half after high tide. In the process of planning a trip. Your video has spurred me on to get there sooner rather than later. Thank you.
Fished there today and had 5 straps ... pretty much all in the 2 hrs before high water. Neap tide , so no pull as bad as your session. Love your gentle lob , probably 120 yrds !!! Great video and explanation of tactics (As normal) .. thanks
Hi dean great video what shockleader knot are you using with 100lb leader I use 70lb with spiders hitch and it struggles to come threw the eye of the rod thanks in advanced
@@deanbooker3314 that's twice as long as mine. Do you get snagged up? Will certainly try with a longer rig to see how it affects my catches & snags. Thanks for sharing.

Hi mate, it's my mobile in my pocket, I must remember to leave it on vibrate when filming, my pulleys are 5-6ft long so 10-12ft total length
