I’m considering getting a muffler delete and resonator delete on my 13 charger RT, only for acoustics though but I hear talk that you’ll lose power not sure if true or not
@@beastxXSasukeXxbeast specifically on the hemis not really. I am running 3 in and I still gained hp and low end torque. When I put my headers on I still gained more and more. At a point though you will run out of space and effect as in freeing up power and flow. If you are concerned with the sound I have heard a lot of good exhausts with the mid suitcase muffler cut out. Go for it. I would recommend looking into some mufflers also even though the stock ones are good. Look at companies like flowmaster, spintech, magnaflow, SLP and anybody somewhat of a bigger company. Stock the 5.7 comes with 2 1/4” exhaust the srts I believe are 2 3/4” or 2 7/8”. For power I would go up to 3 but just for sound the 2 1/4” is not bad. Keep in mind the bigger the exhaust the resonance or sound you will get. Now back to the losing power. There have been studies done proving you do not lose power from more flow. The more flow you can create in and out of an engine the better the engine will perform. Especially with overhead valve engines. Sound just chop the suitcase muffler out and any upgrade go to 2 3/4” to 3”. Also for longevity stainless exhaust will not rust but does change color with a lot of heat. Also mandrel bent keeps the tubing at the same diameter when bent but can be more expensive depending on location and availability. Hope this helps.
@@Sak-zo1ui yeah man this totally helped just a lot of stuff I’m really new too, but pretty much I should just go for the muffler delete and have them replace that with straight pipe or how would I say that at a exhaust shop? I heard the muffler delete it sounds the same just a little more growl and also heard the muffler and resonator delete which just sounds crazy, right now my girlfriend has a audi s5 that’s full straight pipe and it’s crazy loud but it sounds amazing man, scary almost, but I’ve been debating this for a while on whether what or not to do because I just want it to sound louder and if I can get it to pop then that would be a plus but as of right now the stock exhaust just ain’t cutting it for me
@@beastxXSasukeXxbeast so show up or call an exhaust shop near you and basically just say you want a mid muffler delete. So from the manifold back it goes manifold-catalytic converter-x pipe- mid muffler (it can look massive or be two somewhat big tube looking things)-rear resonators and out the tips. Just get the mid mufflers cut out and if it is not enough you can always take the resonators out too. That would be straight piped from the cat back. Usually the popping and burbles comes from the exhaust gases not equalizing enough for instance with my 3” there is enough room in the xpipe to create equal pressures and I dont get pops at all. You may get some some pops but I would not recommend getting a tune that specifically makes pops a thing. I have seen some people do harm to their engines that way. Do your research on that or talk to a tuner for a pop tune. If they dont understand what the midmuffler is (they should) make an appointment either way and it is litterally the muffler in between the rear seat and trunk area if your looking under the car. They will just put filler pipes in. If you go to a good shop they will do a good job aligning the tailpipes too. One last thing before I am done rambling lol is if they remove a hanger with the muffler delete have them put a rod to replace the hanger they removed.

With the 13 Charger RT on the exhaust it has that square looking thing in front of the exhaust if you know what I mean, you could look it up n you’ll see what I mean it’s like a rectangle. But yeah for sure I’m most likely going to go with the muffler delete and resonator delete and yeah I’ll just leave out the pops it’s not a must for me I just want that loud loud roar

I just bought a 2013 charger rt awd with 55k miles love it did a muffler Delete as I know it’s a awd but still can do burnouts just pop the hood and pull the number 10 fuse it says something like Front axle disconnect once u do it’ll just say Service awd system but I’ve done it many times nothing happens even a Mechanic at the dealer says yeah nothing will happen but you’ll see the message popping up
If You still got the catalytic convertors its not fully straight pipped even if all your mufflers are gone gotta take off the cats too for its to be fully straight piped

Unintentional camber? These vehicles have non adjustable camber in the rear. Also the weight of the vehicle shouldnt make the car camber out unless the shocks are going bad from age, therefore decreasing the ride height and kicking the wheels out.
@@Sak-zo1ui that's what I'm thinking it is. my charger was bought used and the wheels have camber that makes it look like the car is squatting. Suspension seems fine tho.
@@xox_xox99 whenever the car is lowered the rear wheels camber out. The only way to adjust it is to buy specific trailing arms or bushings that allow for camber adjustment. That doesnt seem like the issue though. Someone could have cut the springs before you bought it and or it just started squating it sounds like the shocks are going out. Is the rear end the only part squatting? (Is the front end higher than the rear) is it excessively bouncy in the rear?
What was done to the exhaust on both of them, sounds mean as hell. I got a blacked out 2013 Charger RT RWD and trying to consider what to do to it exhaust wise, seen a muffler delete and resonator delete that sounds almost like that red one and a muffler delete that sounds like your black one.
The Black Charger has a resonator delete with Carven R mufflers and the Red one is Muffler and resonator delete with no rev limiter. Both sound great. There are a ton of options out there, you can’t really go wrong👍

Thanks bro we appreciate it. He loves the Diablo tuner, not only does it give you performance, but you can adjust a lot of smaller things as well like removing the rev limiter, turning off MSD, you can adjust the throttle response, and even the hardness of shifts if that makes sense and a ton of other things too!

They are 20x9.5 on all 4 corners, the reason they look so wide is because of the offset. I was 16 when I got the wheels and I knew nothing about the offset so I’m not sure exactly what it is.
The tuner does make a difference, it has a lot of useful tools and capabilities as well, it can record data logs and hold a custom tune if you want it to, there’s a lot you can do with it.
