No Mans Sky lends itself to a movie brilliantly. Not much of a narrative I'll agree but just have its aesthetic, setup and make it a story about existential crisis and finding your place in the universe. Dead Space would be an obvious choice I think...so long as they keep the horror and gore intact. I wish I could say Resident Evil but at this point I want Hollywood to leave RE alone. A maybe not so obvious choice that might be cool would be Soma. I feel like that story could translate well to film and the environment and creatures could be fantastically horrific in live action.
Wolfenstein would make an excellent movie. Lone soldier fighting Nazis, and also the horrible experiments with the occult and reanimation, culminating in a fight against mecha-Hitler. How is it not a movie already boggles my mind.
Problem is that one movie wouldn't be sufficient. It's such a long game with so much that happens over the course of it. It would wind up being another Eragon if they tried to cram it into a single movie.
I don't think the Doom Slayer's disregard for the narrative of the game would translate well into any sort anime or movie sadly, but it would be awesome if they could do it

I would make it like a Tobe Hooper film where the action and tension never lets up) Fallout (seriously, how has this not happened yet?) Dark Souls (Again, how has this not happened?) In response to Ewan's movie idea for the console wars the GameCube is actually part of that war. That was the last time Nintendo tried to compete power wise rather than just doing their own thing. Sony and Xbox went with CD-Rom Nintendo went with micro disc. The hardware in the GameCube was actually the best performing graphics card of the three but the controller and odd media was a bit of a downfall for the system. The Xbox was supposed to launch as the most powerful of the three but had some pretty serious downgrades in CPU and GPU a few months before launch. Their original oversized controllers were the biggest drawback for their system. That generation gave us Marvel Ultimate Alliance which we could really use a new one. . .
Leave that to Japan. They do the best when it comes to their own property and I just KNOW they'd make Metal Slug Live Action amazing. :P I mean, they have musicals of a number of Capcom properties (Phoenix Wright and Resident Evil being two of them)

The Last of Us on HBO isn't the game minus the gameplay. It's the game if you took out almost all the infected and only focused on the human portions.

Well Naughty Dog made The Last of Us and Uncharted, so I’m gonna name an older Naughty Dog game the Jak and Daxter series, or another one that would be cool the Bioshock series.
