Hello there brother. In terms of Display quality & colours, speakers output, general performance and the main and selfie camera general photo quality (white balance, colour accuracy, dynamic range & low light) would you still go for the Poco X5 Pro, a Redmi Note 12 Pro or a OnePlus 10T?
Ah you put a rather difficult comparison 😅, between the Redmi Note 12 Pro and the X5 Pro, i'd go for the X5 Pro, however in contrast to the 10T, this is a rather hard comparison since the 10T caters to a flagship chip which means overall raw power and performance will be ahead of the X5 Pro and I have a soft spot for OnePlus despite their recent merger with OPPO
@@Chrisispoint If we consider what the SoC does to help with the photo quality would you say the 19T is still superior than the two other phones? Or not?
Probably if you factor in what the SoC can do with the overall output of the photo taken then I'd say yes, the 10T would still come out on top. Although, this could also be a case similar to a previous Xiaomi phone released a few years ago which is the Mi note 10 Lite, despite being a mid range device the camera performance was superb so I think the only surefire way to determine which is better is for you to take the leap on which to go for and see for yourself or if there's a store nearby that has demo units that would work too
Hi there, not quite sure from this, but you may check out Amazon, usually for smartphones released in Asia that's set for the global market, are usually available in Amazon
Hello I have a really important decision to make between the Xiaomi Redmi note 10 pro , Xiaomi Redmi note 11 pro or the poco x5 pro 5g , my father really said it depends on you. But I am really really confused. Can you advice me which one is the best out of the two interms of everything or overall please let me know ASAP because I don’t have enough time my father gave me around a week to decide.
Quite frankly your confusion is quite simple, clearly the POCO X5 Pro 5g is the newer device which means - any bugs of previous models are no longger existing - newer internals makes it more efficient and performing - newer software which means longer software support - If you've seen my video, considering that I've tried out previous redmi note devices, in my honest opinion especially when it comes to midrange devices, always go for the latest one. The experience isn't the same as getting a flagship that was previously released 1-2 years ago. The only real incentive you'd get if you were to choose the Redmi Note 10 Pro/ Note 11 Pro is the price as at this point in time they're cheaper, but overall performance you'd be better off with the POCO X5 Pro or the POCO F5 if you can stretch the spending limit a bit 🙂
Honestly there isn't really much to think about, spec wise the X5 Pro is better. And usually for mid range devices, it is always the ideal route to go for the latest one.
Just like someone who made a comment about the F3 in comparison to the X5 Pro 5G. If you're going to compare paper specifications and synthetic benchmarks, the X3 Pro will come out on top mainly because of the processor, however you have to put into consideration the upgrades the X5 Pro 5g comes with - AMOLED 120Hz display - MIUI 14 - 67w fast charging - better camera optics - IP rating for splash resistance And because it is the newer model, this will get years of software and security updates in comparison to the X3 Pro
Honestly I wouldn't. The main upgrades on the X5 pro is, AMOLED instead of LCD, 5G on top of 4G, bigger battery, fast charging, and a better camera. None of those things particularly are worth spending 300 for and going though the pain of switching phones expecially when the chipset is weaker in this model which is the most important thing all around. A more suitable upgrade would be the Poco F4 or F4 pro, but unless your phone is having issues that can't be solved with a factory reset, then you don't really need to upgrade
Hello there brother. Can I ask... Between the X5 Pro and say the OnePlus 10T which you guys think have a better & brighter display (under direct sunlight), louder & crispier speakers (w/ a bit of bass), better selfie camera ( in HDR, sharpness, skin tones,) and a more robust Gallery/Photo Editor? Please help. Many thanks.
I actually have not been able to test/review the OnePlus 10T, but from what i've gathered, the 10T is a bit of a hit or miss or leaves an impression where the good stuff will be dependent on who is using it. Some may like it, some don't. Though I've used Oneplus devices in the past and the only thing that I've liked as a whole was Oxygen OS, less resources and all that power makes everything buttery smooth. Though I don't think a lot has changed in terms of the camera but as far as the "Gallery/Photo Editor" I'd say this goss to the X5 Pro 5G, or you can just use apps like Snapseed or Lightroom.
@@Chrisispoint So, with regards to the questions I asked and comparing to the older X4 Pro you still think the X5 Pro is better overall in terms the cameras, chipset & performance? Do you think the X5 Pro is a good value for money?
Overall yes, simply because the specifications of the X4 Pro is actually similar with the newer X5, and the X5 Pro 5G gets the bumped up specifications
Sorry, I can't really say at this point, then again that's gonna be a bit of a miss match since the new GT Neo 5 is packed with a Snapdragon 8 Gen series processor whereas this only has the Snapdragon 700 series, so... Though at this point I can't say either as I've yet to test put the GT Neo 5.
I hesitate between the poco X5 pro 5g and the Xiaomi 11T pro. This is to replace my redmi note 8 pro. I play 3-5 hours a day (games like dragon ball legends, dislyte, saint seiya awakening and I take 2-3 pictures a week. Budget level, 400€uro in France. Thank you. Or waiting the POCO F5 PRO.
Well, it's quite too early to tell if there would be a POCO F5 Pro, rumors are just plain rumors. However in reference to your comparison, like what I've told the other one who made a similar comment, on paper the 11T Pro will have the better performance because of the flagship chip and better camera optics (i think) although I've only tested the 11T which didn't really lean towards my liking, but performance wise it's a win. The only downside that I see is the updates, i'm not 100% sure if the 11T Pro is supposed to get more than 2 major software updates so from the time of launch to now... it's not gonna be that far off until it won't get updates anymore unlike the newely released X5 Pro 5G, but it's totally your call 😊
@@Chrisispoint Okay, thank you, I translated your text with "reverso" I don’t speak English. I asked around and the number of updates on this either on the 11T or the poco X5 will be the same. And for the F5 Pro, it has been certified, and is due out in 2-3 months in France. So you’re telling me it’s my choice, but the 11T pro is better in performance and photography? Thank you.
@@Chrisispoint I have a crush on the poco X5 pro, but it was people who told me it was better and it was not the same category of smartphone as the 11T pro was released at 650-700€. So for them, the 11T is necessarily better.
Well from a realistic standpoint, having to by a flagship that was released a year or two ago is still a bargain considering the possible drop in price versus the specsheet it comes with. In some cases this is still the better option compared to getting a mid range device for the same price point, it's really just some aspects that make it hit the breaking point of what really matters to you and what you can live with for the duration of you using this new phone.
I think given that the software (MIUI) and the camera (as you say, which I can't validated as I was not able to test the 12 Lite), will totally depend on your preference in terms of the overall brand. At the end of the day, it's still coming from the same umbrella which is Xiaomi 😊
Dear İ want to buy a decent mid range smartphone but can't choose between for example , Motorola g82, OnePlus 2t, honour 5 lite, Redmi note 12, poco x5 pro, oneplus ce 2,
I think a clear differentiating factor is what works to your advantage. All those devices you've mentioned are Android devices and ultimately a few features are different, so the safe answer is which actually works better for you.
Well if you will depend on synthetic benchmarks, then obviously the F3 will score higher because of the Snapdragon 870 processor, however, the X5 Pro 5G is the newer device which comes with a ton of optimizations and will be getting newer softwate and security enhancements as opposed to the F3.
X5 Pro, why? because just like any other android device (with the exception of Samsung) only comes with 2-3 years of software/security updates. the X4 GT is older, X5 Pro is newer with better specifications, you'll get you're money's worth with the X5 Pro more.
are we talking with the use of earphones/earbuds? it's okay. if this is for the actual speakers of the phone, they can get pretty loud, but distorts at max volume slightly. around 80% it'll still be loud and clear.
Honestly, go for the X5 pro, although the m4 Pro 5g has some level of popularity and a proven track record, most Android devices are only supported for about 2-3 years of software updates, if that doesn't matter to you, and you can land a much affordable deal, then great with the m4 pro 5g, but if not, and you want to be safe, go for the newer one.

Personally I'd still pick the X5 Pro, it just performs much better in my opinion versus the Redmi Note 12 Pro. In contrast to the realme GT Neo 3 however, this will boil down to your preference, both devices perform great in the camera dept, on the flipside, most apps are more optimized on Snapdragon as opposed to MediaTek. With the proven track record, I'd still probably go for the X5 Pro, but not sure if you were the person I reco'd this to, but if you're able to squeeze out the extra cash, go for the F5, that will surely beat the comparison between the GT Neo 3 and the Redmi Note 12 Pro by a big stretch 🙂

@@Chrisispoint haha thank you for the reply and yes, i did watch the f4 video as well but for me i think x5 pro is abit cheaper and has good specs on that price range.
The X5 Pro is not a bad catch by any means actually, even if it comes with a mid range chip, the overall feature set it comes with in contrast to the price is still much higher compared to the competition so it is still a win for you.

Yes, but most of which can be deleted or disabled. It's not that bad that would make the device slow. In addition, the S10 lite (flagship) costs much much more SRP launch, in contrast to this device, so even if it did have any bloatware or ads that can be deleted/disabled, in exchange for the price point, it's not a big deal really.
I don't think so. For one, the screen is an IPS LCD, and although it has a relatively powerful chipset, that's still a dimensity chip and we all know that games are more compatible with snapdragon chips. in reference to the RAM, the X5 Pro has the newer MIUI which is a lot more lighter and efficient, so even if it only has 6 GB of RAM, there's the virtual RAM, which you can use to increase the RAM of the device. and because it is newer, at this point, I wouldn't recommend the X4 GT over this, probably if you really want that particular model sure, but me personally, i would go for the X5 Pro, there's just so many upgraded features that makes it a lot worth it.
In the UK there's no adverts & little bloatwear, what bits they were I uninstalled so it was fine & the Poco F3 was pretty good too, not sure about the cameras though- & tbh, my S10 Lite is 2 years & 9 months old & it is failing. It's been used a lot, espc in the Pandemic yet, but it keeps going onto flight mode & locking up on anti touch so you cannot use it at all! (& I doubt it will last the week, so I am not happy with Samsung (+ the S22 with it's NOT even 3hr battery on 5G was a massive mistake. Samsung are kidding. Males me think stick with Poco bc Samsung are not that great, the S22 is a Flagship phone & it's a mess! What to do..!!🙏🇬🇧

Serious note: Poco X5 Pro, infinix is cool too especially if you're tight on the budget but if you really wanna up your game, this is the better route.
Can you do a front camera comparison with the Xiaomi 13 Lite please? What do you think of the front camera of the Poco X5 Pro ? & What about the CPU throttle test of these 2 devices? Somewhere, I've seen that the cpu of the 13 Lite doesn't work at 100% full capacity constantly as it has some fluctuations, but the CPU of the Poco X5 Pro keeps its performance at around 100% especially when gaming. Besides, Great review.
Is Poco x5 pro camera better than redmi note 12 pro? It's said redmi did not deploy good algorithm on 12 pro, so the camera is too much better than Poco x5 pro. Is this true?
Honestly I can't confirm since I was not able to test the Redmi Note 12 Pro, but during my testing with the POCO X5 Pro 5G, in contrast to the previous POCO devices that I've used and tested, the camera on this feels very capable.
@@Chrisispoint is it better than Poco x4 pro? They use the same camera module, but maybe better CPU and optimisation give better performance this time!
it's mostly plastic but it is quite sturdy in my opinion unless you're the type who tends to drop their phone. Though, because it is quite slim and light, having to put on a case won't be an issue as it'll still feel not as heavy compared to other devices.
I honestly don't know since di ko pa natry ang Redmi Note 12 Pro, but if we go for the practicality of things, Snapdragon chips tend to perfom better with image processing, so I'd go for the X5 Pro
Battery life is decent, an easy day to a day and a half depending on your usage. If on heavy use, you can kill the battery in a matter of 4-6 hours tops
I have the Poco X5 5G, but I'm having an issue enabling the QR code scanner in the camera settings. When I enable the QR code scanner and hit the back button, the QR code scanner is disabled (greyed out). Anyone having the same issue?
Not for me, you can try to force stop the camera app see if that helps, or perhaps Google lens since that's usually the default that scans/reads QR Codes
I've been waiting for someone to ask this question! Quite frankly although the camera optics of the X5 Pro 5G are better than previous POCO devices, the 9 Pro plus has the edge on this as the primary lens on that is the same flagship lens from flagship phones in 2022
That probably depends on how you compare the two, if you're just dependent on paper specifications and benchmarks then no, the 11T Pro will come out on top. Although I didn't get to try out the 11T Pro, I did get to use the 11T and wasn't exactly happy with that device, the X5 Pro 5G however, was such a fun experience.
@@Chrisispoint yea poco seems great and I love that it has a headphone jack. But I take a lot of photos with my phone and poco seems great at that too, but I don't know if it would be better than 11T pro
From what I've heard from fellow tech reviewers, the camera performance of the 11T Pro is a lot better than the 11T, so I guess that's where the definitive factor is. I guess if it provides any merit, since the X5 Pro 5G is newer, it will have more software updates which can optimize the device for the better for the next 2-3 years since it is new as opposed to the 11T Pro, but if that doesn't matter for you, then I guess your pick which is the 11T Pro is the better option.
I think most brands now a days don't include an earphone. Apple, Google, Samsung, Xiaomi, realme and a few others don't come with a pair of earphones in the box, so I don't think it is that big of a deal.
ah that's easy, between those two, I'd go for the X5 Pro 5G, why? - Camera is much better - AMOLED Display - Newer device (more software updates) - More affordable - The design looks a lot more premium and has a good feel - Price to value ratio
Actually pag kinumpara mo sila based on spec sheet at synthetic bench marks, lalabas na mas okay yung numbers ni X4 GT. Pero kung titignan mo yung features ni X5 Pro, for me, mas sulit siya: - AMOLED 120Hz display - MIUI 14 - 67w fast charging - better camera optics - IP rating for splash resistance Plus, depende nalang siguro kung saan mo siya bibilhin but base sa presyo, mas worth it si X5 Pro 5g

Thinking of bringing it back to life as it seems to charge now.
@@Chrisispoint Just now seeing your reply, thx man. I actually haven't got around to buying a new phone yet, using an old broken device instead.
Although, this could also be a case similar to a previous Xiaomi phone released a few years ago which is the Mi note 10 Lite, despite being a mid range device the camera performance was superb so I think the only surefire way to determine which is better is for you to take the leap on which to go for and see for yourself or if there's a store nearby that has demo units that would work too
THANKS JUST ORDERED IT!!!!!!!!!
How can I buy this in the US? I live in Champaign, IL
Quite frankly your confusion is quite simple, clearly the POCO X5 Pro 5g is the newer device which means
- any bugs of previous models are no longger existing
- newer internals makes it more efficient and performing
- newer software which means longer software support
- If you've seen my video, considering that I've tried out previous redmi note devices, in my honest opinion especially when it comes to midrange devices, always go for the latest one.
The experience isn't the same as getting a flagship that was previously released 1-2 years ago.
The only real incentive you'd get if you were to choose the Redmi Note 10 Pro/ Note 11 Pro is the price as at this point in time they're cheaper, but overall performance you'd be better off with the POCO X5 Pro or the POCO F5 if you can stretch the spending limit a bit 🙂
i am having a confusing time to decide if i should get this or redmi note 12 pro 5g..
pls send help :,)
Honestly there isn't really much to think about, spec wise the X5 Pro is better.
And usually for mid range devices, it is always the ideal route to go for the latest one.
I'm using my poco x3 pro for 2 years now and it's been fantastic, I'm wondering if I should buy x5 pro now.
Just like someone who made a comment about the F3 in comparison to the X5 Pro 5G.
If you're going to compare paper specifications and synthetic benchmarks, the X3 Pro will come out on top mainly because of the processor, however you have to put into consideration the upgrades the X5 Pro 5g comes with
- AMOLED 120Hz display
- MIUI 14
- 67w fast charging
- better camera optics
- IP rating for splash resistance
And because it is the newer model, this will get years of software and security updates in comparison to the X3 Pro
Same here. Lol
On paper they have same performance
Any thoughts between this and the newly released gt neo5?
Sorry, I can't really say at this point, then again that's gonna be a bit of a miss match since the new GT Neo 5 is packed with a Snapdragon 8 Gen series processor whereas this only has the Snapdragon 700 series, so...
Though at this point I can't say either as I've yet to test put the GT Neo 5.
great review hope you can put video links for specific parts. more power!
oh thank you ☺️, will look into that.
Does poco x5 pro have update problem or motherboard problem? Please tell me
not that I know of or have encountered any issues
Thank you.
Of course it will always be your choice. There are just some who prefer the newer stuff but if an older model makes more sense to you then go for it 😃
@@Chrisispoint I have a crush on the poco X5 pro, but it was people who told me it was better and it was not the same category of smartphone as the 11T pro was released at 650-700€.
This camera is the same as xiaomi 12 lite?? Wich one is better
I think given that the software (MIUI) and the camera (as you say, which I can't validated as I was not able to test the 12 Lite), will totally depend on your preference in terms of the overall brand.
At the end of the day, it's still coming from the same umbrella which is Xiaomi 😊
Proud user of Poco X5 Pro
that's awesome ☺️
@@Chrisispoint thank you
and how is the phone after all this time?
@@myslacy5358 awesome. No bs.
what is more upgrade poco f4 or f5? im using poco x3 nf rn
POCO F5 is the latest non pro variant for POCO
Dear İ want to buy a decent mid range smartphone but can't choose between for example , Motorola g82, OnePlus 2t, honour 5 lite, Redmi note 12, poco x5 pro, oneplus ce 2,
I think a clear differentiating factor is what works to your advantage. All those devices you've mentioned are Android devices and ultimately a few features are different, so the safe answer is which actually works better for you.
poco f3 or this poco x5 pro what is better?
Well if you will depend on synthetic benchmarks, then obviously the F3 will score higher because of the Snapdragon 870 processor, however, the X5 Pro 5G is the newer device which comes with a ton of optimizations and will be getting newer softwate and security enhancements as opposed to the F3.
which woul you recomend x5 pro or x4 gt?
X5 Pro, why? because just like any other android device (with the exception of Samsung) only comes with 2-3 years of software/security updates. the X4 GT is older, X5 Pro is newer with better specifications, you'll get you're money's worth with the X5 Pro more.
What about the sound for music??
are we talking with the use of earphones/earbuds? it's okay.
if this is for the actual speakers of the phone, they can get pretty loud, but distorts at max volume slightly.
around 80% it'll still be loud and clear.
Still confused should i buy poco m4 pro 5g or this one,,,
Honestly, go for the X5 pro, although the m4 Pro 5g has some level of popularity and a proven track record, most Android devices are only supported for about 2-3 years of software updates, if that doesn't matter to you, and you can land a much affordable deal, then great with the m4 pro 5g, but if not, and you want to be safe, go for the newer one.
i think to buy poco x5 pro for games and will it be good?
yes it would, value for money actually especially for gaming

Hi! Can you please help me po, which one is better na pang matagalan na phone and better specs po, this poco X5 pro 5g or realme C55? Thank you in advance po!
well those two kasi are from 2 different categories, mid-range and enter level.
If you have the budget, go for the X5 Pro 5G it is released in 2023 and will be supported for the few years to come. It also comes with upper mid tier specs so kaya kaya nya most games and applications.
C55 is entry level, kumbaga malaki ma-save mong money. It will perform like an entry level smartphone and usually software updates are not that long.

I think it's more of how it is being used, as I didn't encounter any issues even to this day.
thank you for previous answers . i asked you about note 12 pro . now for the same price : xiaomi note 12 pro 5g, poco x5 pro and realme gt neo 3 80w .i am a creator of content , i`m not such a game player , but i play time to time , i stay a lot on you tube . remember the 12 Gb of ram that real me have. same price . so , which of them should i buy ? well , few dollars difference ( note 12 pro costs about 300 , realme gt neo 3 80w 320$ and poco x5 pro 330$) please consider for how long the battery lasts . thanks ,again. BTW , liked it and subscribed
@@Chrisispoint i sqeezed out some cash i ordered F5 (12Gb ram :D). thank you so much for your assistance, most appreciated. i found a video with the 10 things you got to do with a new f5 ( stuff we all do not like) ,anyway , i just love what xiaomi does with their phones, cannot buy anything else

Yes it does, this is a global variant 🙂
Hi just watched your video and loved the review. So I was thinking of buying a new phone which is good for gaming and photography and i've selected Poco X5 Pro and Poco F4 and I wanted a good review on which is better to buy depending on long lasting and good gaming like genshin, cod, mlbb/photography
Thank you, much appreciated. Though honestly speaking i'd stay away from the F4 since the POCO F5 series had already been released and the price difference with the X5 Pro is not that far off.
I did manage to do a review with the F5 you can check that out, it basically answers your questions or inquiries with the factors you're looking for 🙂
@@Chrisispoint haha thank you for the reply and yes, i did watch the f4 video as well but for me i think x5 pro is abit cheaper and has good specs on that price range.
The X5 Pro is not a bad catch by any means actually, even if it comes with a mid range chip, the overall feature set it comes with in contrast to the price is still much higher compared to the competition so it is still a win for you.

Does it have alot of bloatware and ads?
My 3 yr old S10 lite is giving me display issues like my previous Samsung phone, so thinking of switching brands. Not sure if this is considered an upgrade in terms of durabilty and security. Thanks
Yeah but you can delete them all.
@Chrisispoint Do you think X4GT is a better buy considering it's 15% cheaper over here? 8gb ram instead of 6 for X5 Pro
What to do..!!🙏🇬🇧
Hi, I just got my POCO X5 pro. And may concern ako about sa lagging experience ko in game especially sa CODM is there any way po ba to fix this issue?
Ideally if nabili mo siya ng brand new, best to check first for any firmware updates. Given na ilang months na nakalipas for sure meron yan.
After completely updating the firmware make sure COD Mobile is fully updated, meaning all download patch files are downloaded 100% especially the essential downloads otherwise mag lag ka talaga diyan

New mobile phones must be equipped with game triggers
You mean new mobile phones that are designed for gaming must come with game triggers.
You can buy external ones for really cheap if you really don't wanna buy a GT model.
I bought pixel 6a, and deep inside I'm missing xiaomi specs
If you've used a certain device for years and suddenly jump ship, that can happen from time to time.

Which phone has better camera quality poco x5 pro 5g or realme 9 pro plus?
I've been waiting for someone to ask this question!
Quite frankly although the camera optics of the X5 Pro 5G are better than previous POCO devices, the 9 Pro plus has the edge on this as the primary lens on that is the same flagship lens from flagship phones in 2022
Poco F4 or X5 pro
X5 Pro, why?
- new release = more software/security updates
- optimized UI
- better camera optics
- more value for money
Is this phone better than xiaomi 11T pro?
