- The end of an era has dawned upon us and it is certainly a bittersweet moment. The Slumber Queen has served me well, but alas, it's time to move on to a rig that will better suit my needs.

I live in a small house but I will miss the Slumber Queen. I'm almost 70 (Feb.) and this made me cry!
I went through 5 campers in 3 years. Just upgraded every time. Now I'm in my dream camper. Let the next adventure begin. Happy trails!
After putting in the work, it’s kinda hard to let go. It’s definitely a worthwhile experience. But looking forward with what you get next!
Hubby & I have loved watching the progress of the SQ! After we saw the video about the leaks & other problems, we thought it might be time. You have shared with us such beautiful places & gorgeous scenery! no worries, we will continue to watch whatever you decide your next adventure will be. We pulled out our tent, got some cots & other camping gear & have looked into doing more camping thanks to you & your channel. (We can't afford RV's!)
I know the feeling. I spent 5 years building a 2 seat airplane, when it was finished and signed off from the FAA I was too burned out to fly it. I flew it a couple times then sold it. No regrets.
It's never easy to give up something that means a lot to you. However, when you know it's time to let something as special as the Slumber Queen go (as you do), then the decision seems like the right one for you. My wife and I watch your show because of you, not for what you drive or camp in. Change is natural. And we can't wait to see your next episode!
Glad to see you wanting to further the success of the channel and make the necessary changes to do so. I'm excited to see what you end up doing next. Truck camper, or an RV I'll continue to be here and support. Much love man!!

We sold our camper once our children had grown into adults. Our children had used it a few times to go to some concerts and I had always thought perhaps they could take over the payments but there had been too many years between using it and not using it. I always loved camping and I love watching your channel because of you. You make your channel interesting with the adventures that you do. The slumber queen was a part of you and your next adventures will be too. Keep coming with the cooking adventures.

To me the truck cap you got after this was the most ideal. Light, pretty roomy with great potential for a simple build out to make it even more workable & comfortable. But we all have our own ideas about what we need or want.
For the first five minutes I was confused and thought he bought another Slumber Queen that looked similar to the previous one.
I'm still confused lmao. He said "from the footage you just saw, I'm in the new camper." The footage shows his Slumber Queen? I'm gonna keep watching lol.

I know the bittersweet feeling of selling a camper you’ve put so much into. Like yours, there was always something else to work on. It was tough letting it go, but then it actually felt like a relief. So many possibilities now! Have fun and keep trying other rigs 👍

Honestly, I was never really too crazy about that slumber queen. Enjoyed your videos a lot more when you were camping at your truck or subie. But having said that, don’t feel too bad. All the work and stuff you put into it helped you to learn what works and what doesn’t work for you when camping. I’ve spent months probably a year building out my rig and then realized it just wasn’t working and I ripped the whole thing out and started over again. Did that twice, lol!
I just found your channel yesterday, and I was thinking how cool the Slumber Queen was! I bet the next thing you get will be super cool! Keep up the good videos!

I lived in a small house and it made me sad when I left. I'm glad I did though. I needed more space, better location and i like my neighbors better too.

Very nice video. I've been following for awhile and just always liked your vibe as a person! I'm excited to see all your new adventures! I am in CA now but for the last 4 years I've been going back and forth from CA to WA state so every time you go back and forth to CA to OR I just feel for you making the drive as I have to and from. I'm actually driving back to WA for good by the end of January 2022 unless something changes, but I doubt it:) Anyway, love your videos and look forward to seeing more. Happy New Year, btw!
