but what if i’m doing good pitching like i’m loading up the strike zone and when they hit the ball and my team is making errors over and over again. i feel like my coach is thinking that i’m the one that is doing bad not them cause i should be striking them out.

I have exclusively kids in their first year of player pitch minor league. It is also my first year of teaching pitching. These pitching videos in particular have been an absolute life saver and game changer, but you have such a great way of breaking everything down to a level that is easy for even 9 & 10 year olds to grasp.
Keep up the AMAZING work, Coach.

I’m 16 and I’m just starting to pitch, I hope I can get good enough to make varsity and stop throwing so wide. Thank you :)

Excellent video young man - love seeing the younger generation teaching the game at a high level and easy for young people to understand. Well done.

Cool video. Don't play or coach, but my job can be tough sometimes. Critical events or gane days with skills need to deliver. point 3 and 4 really hit for me. Thanks!

I’ve always had a 12-6 curve ball that when I played little league I was unhittable, it broke from there head to the bottom of the zone, I was probably the best pitcher in my league. But that was when I was like 12 and the mound was close. Now I am 17 and have a not too impressive ~74 mph fast ball, a cutter (with really good movement), a not so good change, and the same 12-6 curve. But my curve has so much movement it’ll start at the top of the zone but break into the dirt infront of the plate, I am Throwing it with the same arm speed as ever other pitch, but I just can’t control it. Whenever I throw it higher it goes too high. Like I can’t find that sweet spot, so basically what could/should I do to get control of my curve again and get it back in the zone?

My main problem right now is leaving pitches too hittable, especially my change up, every HR that's been hit off me so far has been a change up. Any tips to fix this?

I personally don't like trying to pitch all out because then my shoulder gets tense and the throw is going to be slightly off point and a lot slower than what it could be. If I'm stressed I pitch at 95% and if I'm relaxed I don't think about the effort.
