Well I like your video! Love Daisy. I hope she has several more healthy and happy years with you. I have had several of my dogs and cats live to be over 16 years old, and I got most of them when they were a few weeks old. My oldest is a dog, 15 years old, with a cat being just 7 months younger (as a matter of fact they will turn 16 years old in February and September 2022). I have 9 cats and 4 dogs now. And only 1 cat and 3 of the dogs are under 9 years old now! Those 4 are still just under 5 years old. Good thing we live in the country and in the woods where they run around all over the place! That is bad as well. We have lost several pets to wild animals in the woods, coyotes, bob cats, birds of prey, others as well. So take care of your Daisy. It sounds like you are doing so. She's very pretty. By the way, I have a cat named Daisy!
Winter, the faint of heart put their camping gear a way. I love that. The winter is one of my favorite seasons to camp. You get rid of the crowds. Last winter we camped at Theisen Trail Head near Diamond Lake. 16 inches of new snow that night. Oh, great snowshoeing that day. Why camp with the crowds when you can camp solo. Life is good in Central Oregon.

My memory of Thanksgiving in the Oregon Cascades was at Santiam Lodge circa 1965. Instead of several inches of snow there was almost four feet. The lodge was practically buried, and we had to use tire chains nearly all the way home to Springfield.
The snow makes me nostalgic for Wheeler and the old white truck. The landscape photography shoots and the raw chicken for the dogs served from a baggie. I've been enjoying your videos for 4 years. Sincerely appreciate you taking us along your Travels.

I’ve never really gotten into being outdoors but honestly I love the snow, I’d rather be in a cozy camper van playing some video games while it’s negative temperatures outside than being in Hawaii or some other tropical place. Great video

Wow nice to wake up to a dusting of snow. If I could suggest one thing with your axe hanging on the wall turn it around with the head facing the rear of you van so if you ever have an accident it does not become a head thumper. My step dad got his head injured with a gardening tool. not a good thing.

I lived in central Oregon for 11 years and i miss snowshoeing at night .if it gets cold enough people climb Paulina Falls when it freezes near solid .
