Know The real script of Puncture Fraud - Kwik Fix India
5 Types of Puncture fraud we have identified please see below.
1. If your car or bike tyres already have Puncture and recommended air pressure is 32 if puncherwala puts more then 50 to 70 points air pressure there are chances that old punchers will get leak.
2. Side wall of the tyre never touches ground so there are no chance that side wall will get puncher. Side wall of the tyre is very soft so its very easy to pinch there.
3 Tyre with good amount of tread will get stone stuck so wile removing the stone they use the sharp object some time if your not keep an eye on them while removing the stone they will pinch and make the Puncture. Dont letm them use sharp object and ask them to check with Shampoo water if there is leak then only let them use sharp object.
4. Eno - If you put water on eno bubbles will come so if you dont see properly they will make the Puncture there.
5. Tubeless tyre puncher are checked only with shampoo water not to use draum if they use there are chances that your old puncer wil get leak and chances that he can make Puncture inside.
Keep an eye on them to avoid this fraud.

Thanks a lot. There are lot of scamsters in Pune. My friend had been asked to pay 3500 Rs by multiple puncture . He called cops immediately. Infact Times of India had published article for Pune. Best is to avoid the person who comes and says "Sir Hawa kam hai bohot" I have seen multiple instances like this and every time I stopped vehicle immediately, and checked the air pressure and every time it was okay. And more surprisingly, there was a punchure shop 100 metres ahead, where the guys alerted about tyre pressure. This happened with me both 2 and 4 wheeler.
The good tyre shops guys always says, better to avoid roadside puncture wala. But not all are fraud. And one has to be very very alert when you are in a roadside / highway puncture shop where you are going first time.

Happened to me also in Hinjewadi Pune
That guy teared up the tyre from inside and said that the puncture are happening in tube due to tear in Tyre.
He charged me 600 to apply patch on tyres at two places.
Later I came to know that it was a scam and many people faced the same in Hinjewadi.
I was also tricked in Pune 3-4 years back ..it's was really annoying.
I too was scammed near khadki station fucker cost me Rs.500 for that shit

Pune and Mumbai are filled with this problem. If you google search puncture scam you can see so many articles in newspapers and TV news that means that the problem is there which is why by making this kind of video we are making people aware.
Pune has became hub of puncture scams. My first puncture cost me around 280 rs. I had 4 cuts in tyre. My tyre looks exactly same as it is in ur thumbnail. When I visited another puncture shop he told me abt this scam. There is never a puncture on side of tyre as it never comes in contact with the road. Got fooled once but it was the last time.

Yes, I was looted in Baner, Pune the same way. They sometimes tell you that there are many punctures in your tyre and install patch unnecessarily of which they charge you so much. Never agree to them on install patch unless you you feel the need. He even tried distracting me. At the last he installed 2 patch and was still going on and on, so I stopped him and scolded. Be alert when they have your tyre in their hand, never get distracted.

This is absolutely true and the sidewall thing I've seen happening in front of me and even caught the guy...after he had just duped a lady before me and taken money for 6 punctures from her on one tyre, which got me thinking...she couldn't possibly have been running a tyre with 6 punctures in it. When he almost did the same to my tyre and I caught him and heckled him a bit and threatened to call the Police...he accepted what he'd done. Keep in mind guys and pay attention.

I was duped for Rs 1100 for my active.
The shop is Near Ramwadi police station on Nagar Road. There are three road side puncture shop.
I went to fill up air and shop wala said ki puncture hai. It was a tubeless tyre and I was making puncture for the very first time as it was new activa. During whole process he pierced 15 punctures and demanded 1500 I started arguing as how there come 15 punctures but he showed those as those were made by them only.
I was alone and it was around 10 at night and had to settle with Rs1100 .
Don't go to Ramwadi Puncture shop on Nagar road
Same happened with me near ramwadi police station.
Something similar happened to me in Mumbai, where I stopped to top up air pressure, western expressway. Puncture guy showed pressure of 10 psi and said ki puncture hai. Somehow dug up 21 punctures total in both tyres.
Uss samay lag rha tha ki ye mera puncture bana rha hai, ab lagta hai ki bhosadiwale ne mujhey banaya.

There is one more way in which fraud takes place.Sometimes your car gets bumped on a rock thereby forming a gap between the tyre and rim of
the wheel.Instead of straightning the rim to solve the problem puncturewala says there is a puncture in the wheel and thus makes 4 to 5 holes in the tyre and
extract money from you.
Ravindra Bhagwat very important point you mentioned also if your rim get rusted and air gets leak from there instead of cleaning the RIm they make the punctures to make money. Please share this video with your loved one to avoid this fraud
Petrol pump guys or wherever you fill in air or nitrogen always get out of the car and see to it that they’re not messing around with your tyre usually puncture frauds happen on the tyres sidewall.
Also it’s always good to have an aftermarket TPMS system if your car doesn’t have one by default.

I just got cheated last week where I was driving my aprilia sr150 with a pillion one stranger called out stating there is no air...I immediately saw a puncture shop within 100 mts( big mistake one) and told him to fill air...that bastard instaed of filling air told me that there is no air and then started to tell me that its a puncture ....he went on puncturing without asking me if u want to change tyre etc....I was so dumb that I felt it's my mistake and I ended up finally paying 37 punctures which is somewhere 3500 ...I am going to file a complaint this week ..and will.make sure that he pays the price ....thank u for the video...I will put the shop details and the complaint status soon !
Same happened with me with my just 2 weeks old scooty. I was always blaming myself that i didn't care my scooty. my brand new scooty got punctured. After watching this video Today i got to know that i got scammed

After 5 years I am watching your video for the first time because I got cheated the same way you have explained. After driving my new car for 1.5 years 13k kms i got my 1st puncture while returning from a interstate long drive.
As you said exactly I got panicked because my TPMS was showing less air and air pressure was falling down as I keep driving and I was driving to my home from a different state at 10pm with my wife.
First of all i stopped at a petrol bunk and tried to figure out the puncture and saw a screw was inside tyre, then I approached pentrol bunk people to help me out. They checked my full tyre and exactly you said they distracted me by telling engage and disengage hand brake and they pinched my new tyre side wall.
All of a sudden they said we suspect a side wall tyre puncture along with this main puncture and asked my to open my tyre and check. Somehow I agreed to open the tyre and as soon as I opened he located the side wall puncture and asked 1000rs to fix it via side wall patch.
I could have avoided it by replacing my Spare tyre but at that time as you said I was in a panic state so could not think about it and paid 1000 rupees to fix side wall patch.
I could relate all things from your video and Thanks for this wonderful information.
Even I know good tyre shops never do these kind of things, but whoever do it somehow that money won't stay for long time with him. Its all Karma.

Pune city outskirts area is full of puncture scammers. If you have only one puncture they will make 6-7 more in their shop and try to act innocent. I was charged 820₹ for just 1 puncture. There was only one nail which was very long and punctured through the tyre perpendicular way but there are 8-9 puncture in the tube and 3 holes in the outside tyre.

Great Video, Around 80% do this practice. Also want to inform you that in mumbai no Authorized tyre dealers or service centre repair the puncture. They ask you go to these kind of roadside looters. So there is no option to get it repaired from a good tyre service.
In bengaluru this puncture wala distract us and break the tube inlet valve neck of tube and says tube should be replaced. Every puncher wala says the tube they have is company tube and what I have in tyre is local tube and charge 800 to 1000
Really appreciate, this has happened to me I lost around 4500 rupees and then I did complaint to tyre manufacture and they checked the tyre and explained me the trick I think it was Eno trick shown in video the location where it happend with me is opposite main gate MagarpattaCity pune be careful. They punched my 2 car front tyres with 30 punctures!!!! I wanted a police complaint but did a mistake that I did not shot video

This is about Puncture Man Shop at Indian Oil Petrol Pump at Bellandur, ORR, Bangalore. I caught this guy RED Handed manually doing side-wall puncture on my tyre. I was already alert as last year also he had shown me two punctures on my tyre and one of them was sidewall. What he does is while fixing main puncture, he pricks the small pin on sidewall. Sidewall can not be fixed like regular 100 Rs puncture, it is very thin layer and need special processing for which he charges some 700-800 Rs. Today, when i just moved sidewise for a second and turned back, I found him piercing that small pin on side wall, getting caught he could not compose himself and was shocked, tried to put that pin aside. I confronted him and he could not deny that fraud, he eventually fixed that without charge, but cheater has damaged my tyre forever. Never visit this place or ensure 100% supervision of entire act as mentioned in the video.

I would rather go to an authorized tyre shop of ceat or bridgestone and get nitrogen filled in the tyres. It usually lasts for 2 months and despite being a bit costly, I am rest assured that i wont be cheated and the tyre would be safe!

Side wall puncture should never be repaired and used, it is unreliable at triple digit speeds, better buy new tyre.
Video is very informative. Thanks... Guys if you all r coming from thane towards vasai or mira road on ghodbunder road then beware and dont stop to repair puncture near hiranandani bridge left side. There are two puncture repair shop and both of them are fraud. They looted me once with four puncture 440 Rs. Once with 5 punctures 550 Rs. They distract you as shown in video. I had even complained this in the local police station.
We are having a tire shop and service in jamshedpur but we never done such things.its real that some of the puncher wala is scammers ,they loot the customer.

This is happening everywhere... people filling air at petrol pump need to stay alert all the time. I have experienced this at chembur petrol pump, they try to distract you and move your attention from the tyres and puncture it very smartly. i was cheated for 500 rupees and also spoiled a new tyre. Please come out of the car while the air is been filled. Thank you for creating awareness and educating people.

Anirudh Chalke Listen dude. That Hp petrol pump chembur pe jo air pressure check karte hai they are scammers. I got scammed for 700₹. Punctured my absolutely freaking fine tyre. He did 9 punctures. Bargaining karke I paid 700. I was new to cars and was learning driving and all. My advice to you is never check ur tyre pressure at that pump. You can check it at Indian Oil pump which is just 5 min behind of that hp pump.
Where ever you put air or repair puncture please make sure that you keep an eye on them also follow things which I have mentioned in the video so they won’t be able to fool you.

Correct information. This scam is quite active near Khopoli and on the Mumbai-Pune highway. For bikes, onroad offroad are the best to avoid punctures even on those stretches where people throw nails and other sharp objects intentionally.

once i went to check my tyres pressure after checking he told me that one of my tyre had valve issue which needed to be replaced. without any second though i took his advice. Months later i went to him check my tyre pressure he came up with same problem that shook me same issue with another tyre what were the odds to happen same thing in same shop. I told him to replace with stepney. later i took the wheel to another shop. After checking he told me that wheel didnt had any issue.

Manytimes, Air filler of Petrol pump tells puncture in Tyre, for that he may remove lot of Air too ( this happened a lot in Pune )....
Believe me, solution is 'Thank him as fool' and ask him to fill Air again till 32/28 and assure I will check besides shop, and don't go there !😉 Later talk to Manager of Petrolpump if have few minutes (To know depth of Nexus), and complain online to Petrol Company. At least, issue solved for at least 1 year surely.

Yesterday i have faced same problem near kadki station one guy came on bike n said to us that gadi ke tyre me hava n came hai n we stopped our bike n bajumehi puncture vala tha n he showed us 11 punctures we paid 1360 rs to him n again today bike tyre is punctuated what should i do shall i do complain to police
