- This was the last video filmed in 2012. I already have a Kancil on my channel, but that was the 660 model in manual while this is sort of like the "higher" spec model with the 850cc engine, automatic transmission and more equipment as standard.

Perodua Kancil is still a good car.This car is worth buying rather than walking everytime.My mum owns this car and is and it brings me to school.Better than not having a car

Agree with you. My dad has the 1995 version with 660cc engine. Still working, with minor glitches on the gearbox

@@rubbesh4085 It's been updated. The 'glitch' was the gearbox taking 5 seconds to enter a gear. That has since been resolved; we changed the gearbox.

Got a cousin using this 850EZ for more than 20 years already,Now with 2 kids,He already overhauled and fit with turbo unit and management..Although staying in a terrace house and own a 600cc motorcycle,He still using the mini car..

This car is very legendary. It helped millions of Msians to obtain driver's licences at numerous JPJ outlets nationwide for many, many years. Still, it's also the very first car many people ever drive in their life. In driving schools or sekolah memandu in many cities, towns and rural areas 😃😃

Well, yes, I do agree that Kyle did start the whole format of reviewing cars this way, of which many people have followed on. I do follow this format as well because I think that there are not many ways that one is able to present to others a complete "video version" of a car's manual as I would like to put it. Many others and I owe it to him for starting this format

I still have one year 1998 EX manual.... The one you reviewed... The steering wheel is not from that year and the engine i don't remember if the 850 auto version came with EGR systen as stock for the engine.... Otherwise everything on that car is completely in stock condition... Even the paint job still factory... Nice one for whoever takes over this car...

I note that Perodua use EZ for their automatic cars. EZ (Z - using the American pronounciation of the letter: Zee) = Easy.
It's a shame that Perodua (and Proton) are no longer selling cars in the UK.
One of my friend in South Africa asked about Proton spare parts too. It's quite hard to get some nowadays

How can the Kancil have a fully automatic driver side window? The Viva and the Kelisa, On the other hand, has an automatic down driver side window.

i love this daihatsus in australia i actually wanted to import one of these in the philippines i dont care if its small but i will mod it im actually gonna be doing a project on an daihatsu coure L701 in the future maybe but im still engine swapping it with a daihatsu sirion 1.3 liter engine

I checked his video out cos i have no clue where is the auto window switch was. My car is in the workshop and the workshop lent me their Kancil to use first. 😆 I actually like driving it! Just clueless how to wi d the window down. What a dummy. 😆
