Love this one. Being a logic guy, it’s always nice to see some love for stock plugins.
They actually are great! The instruments and amp sims are one thing but their stock compressors, EQs, modulations, and FX are used by me on a very regular basis.

There is also a frequency splitter in the pedalboard. Works well for the whole bass distortion thing. That rhythm tone is killer.

I am a big stock logic truther, I have found quad tracking my rhythms with the sizzlers on the outside and the more focused tones on the inside sounds huge. nice work dude

I’ve always struggled to get good guitar tones with the stock plugins, will definitely take some tips from this.
Definitely play around a bit with the options on the pedalboard and the mic placement on the cab once you decide on a head. And don’t be afraid to check out different amp/cab combos!

Man, if only Logic had slightly more/better cymbals, because the drums themselves sound awesome. Shockingly massive sounding for just a stock plug in that everyone kind of writes off.

I'm wondering if you would be willing to make/share a mastering chain using Garageband plugins because I have struggled to master my metal music for years and always end up not liking it. Thanks! Yes typically I’m going straight from my guitar into an interface, sometimes with some pedals in between
You should do the writing template with some other DAWs! If you have access to them, I mean, haha. Like maybe Reaper or Pro Tools? You could also do it with free plug-ins that you can find online instead of just the stock ones. Could be a good way to make a few extra bucks!

why didn't you just....layer both bass tones?
Can't beat real bass if you know how to play. That computer bass sounds like computer bass. Don't be afraid to boost the bass signal after tracking.
What drum kit did you use?
Does the Logic Template require a certain version of Logic to run?
