Somewhat confused, you had removal in the form of archdruids charm, could have blown up the bowmasters.
That boros deck seemed spicy and always love seeing rakdos the muscle.
love seeing the Toad!! and Pontus plays him awesome, very hard deck I was told not to build it for a beginner cedh deck, that's why I never get to play golgari, nobody else in that color interests me lol.
It is a struggling commander. But yes SIX is a big upgrade for it.

I think theres an issue.
First combat created 2 rebels, without haste, spell also doesnt give haste (vs Najeela ability).
So i dont see how 2nd combat can deal 13dmg, being bird + 3 rebels, and oxen but bowmaster cna block one.

That is a clear mistake.
Rhetoric should have had that game in that case.
This was a 2½ hour game and we were rushing to finish so that's on us (me)

I was wondering why Pontus didn't just win earlier in the game, but after looking at the decklist I see why. It's really rough. Very little opponent interaction or protection, with just a bunch of mana to maybe turbo? Seems very 2019 cedh. Not trying to slam anyone, just a long time Gitrog player and the deck has changed so much now.
So the strengh of the deck is the low amount of interaction that is changed to mana burst creatures, there is almost no draw or grind and advantage aside from muscle guy, wich means the deck is a lot more focused and gets the interaction fro opponents decks , seems sweet i will pilot this from now on , i see some lines with lands that can give you flash , makes you being able to explode in response to someone doing tutors or stax pieces , and there is also the 6/5 beat face plan

I disagree but I'm not above openly discussing differences in opinions. (I have already given my reasoning though)
@@sPontus I would have kept the first hand because you have two discard outlets that are potential win attempts and the odds that you draw into another land are decent.
You stated it well though, it was a good hand but you wanted an impeccable hand. I just tend to be less greedy than you are with mulligans. But hey at the same time, watching you mull aggressively has taught me to do the same
@@alanschellenberger9356eh i still disagree. You need to draw a land to be active in the game. You need to draw very live to actually be able to get to a winning position. Mox opal is dead and having a second discard outlet is good as dead. Meaning you're basically keeping a 5 (a really good five though to be fair)
The only consistent way I see that hand winning other than being lucky has you going way to all in on squandered resources for it to feel safe enough
Pontus! You could have gone to cleanup with 8 cards in hand and if a removal spell went to gitrog at EOT or after cleanup triggers, you could flash in the discard outlet and win on top.
I believe bowmaster was the issue.
He was too low to likely draw into an out

Combined inexperince with the deck probably caused the lack of "seeing the line" (:

Pontos on turn six should have not played another land and he should have used his cleanup step to sculpt his hand.

@@cedhtvgameplay3974 to an extent yes. But he could have tried to politic with orcish. Saying hey I could draw a bunch of cards do you want to kill all the creatures. Maybe then he could find a removal. Also it's like an ad nas. Don't you guys play ad nas. Life is just a resource. He should have used that resource. Even if he decides to go after gitrog at least he would see 5 more cards. He played to conservative. Imo.
What set is that forest from? The one being played by Mons after the path to exile.

slightly confused, but is blind obedience legal in otharri? i thought since it has the orzhov symbol with the ability, that makes it unviable for the deck.

Also Firefox is easily the most convenient browser for our use case here since it interacts favorably with our recording software (due to how you select which camera/mic to use)
