Yeah I actually forgot to put the 3 cards that I exiled to Necropotence into hand in my endstep, and that made my Gamble not work at all... It was a long tournament and my first online one so I guess my brain wasn't working as well anymore XD
I got that feeling. Watching you. I think you did good. You kinda need to play A LOT of bolas combos to get them to flow really well and fast. There are many strange situations you can run into to get that auto pilot mind going with it.
Honestly you had a few great moves here; the gamble failing was hard indeed but I'm not sure it would have helped enough anyway; casting dihada would also have been "a gamble" as it's only a "mill four" in this situation (unless there's a line I'm missing).
I see you are not playing Reservoir and I can understand why , but this kind of game is also exactly why I am playing it :D
This always happens to most of us. We die to our possible outs 😂- however I still think opportunistic driven plays should always be there to try winning!
Dihada player did well, just needed that final gamble to work and he'd have been golden. He seized his window, just could not fully step through. Blue farm or RogSi were definitely sending a win attempt after that silence was used by the Kenrith player, they had been fed so many cards and were not interacting so it's obvious they had pure gas in hand.
As a talion player, I feel pretty good though, that's the power of the Rhystic Faerie. Almost single handedly kept the RogSi player in the game. :)
Sad to see Dihada drop the ball, I know how stressful tournaments can be though. Sooo close if it wasn’t for forgetting about putting the cards from Necro in hand. Even then it’s a literal gamble, but maybe there was a line with removing Talion instead of fish and then removing Necro to gamble without worry. I’d have to rewatch to know for sure though
sick gameplay!
👍
Game begins at 1:54.
❤❤❤
Dihada ....nice playing lol. Fed the rhystic and GG..
I mean he was kinda going to win or die so feeding the fish was not a reall question for him.
I disagree, he got greedy and should have played a bit safer/slower
@@Tbonesteakayaya absolutely
@@Tbonesteakayaya Dihada is a turbo deck. Playing slower against two of the best grindy decks of the format was dead on arrival. He did try to remove the fish, too.
Not sure why the Dihada player went for a win attempt so aggressively. Pretty much gave the win to the Blue Farm player, kind of silly tbh
I think Dihada was super close at winning. He was interacted with and did miss that gamble. Otherwhise he could have gotten it.
Dihada has a great total of zero chances of winning against two blue deck if it doesn't go for it early on. There's absolutely no world where letting them draw more cards and playing more mana would have helped. Sometimes you reach a bad table, and you have to try and get it.
@@thedoctor1471 wtf are you talking about lol. Dihada was a single card off of winning.
@@wizardsmix7961 I said "if it doesn't go early". The more you wait with Dihada, the lower your chances. The deck can sometimes grind a bit but definitely not against blue farm.
@@thedoctor1471 my bad I meant to just reply to the original comment
