Curious where some of the "cool kids" are living and hanging out? Check this out th-cam.com/video/OVX5cuHl0eY/w-d-xo.html

Another interesting video, Ken. Thank you. I like Baldwin Park except I don’t know that I could ever get used to their city rule to drive backwards. 🚙 4:10

I absolutely love that you created this video! I'm a New Yorker and we're definitely planning to move to Orlando in the next year or two and I NEED to be in a walkable neighborhood or at least have easy access to one. This made my day! 😊

another well produced video. You do the best videos Our realtor told us about Mt. Dora but we thought it was too far and had our hearts set on northern Clermont. Glad to see downtown got an honorable mention.

Trying to catch up on the TH-cam side. This is a really, really great, key informative video and one I’ll be keeping in a save folder…until you update it!
There’s way too many Winter --- cities that are easy for the outsider to mix up! But now I have a better definition of Winter Park being a little more higher end (Bloomfield Hills analogy? It is in my head now.)
Great info grouping and leaving in the “bloopers” is a nice touch. 🙂

      For my Michigan people :)
      Winter park = Birmingham
      Winter garden = Plymouth
      Winter haven = Taylor
      Winter springs = Livonia
Hope that helps and thanks for watching!!

Great information. As someone who used to drive to Disney from Mt. Dora, and now from Winter Park, it's interesting that with the 429 extension to Mt. Dora I take the same 40 minutes from Mt. Dora to Disney (via 429) that I take from Winter Park (via I-4).

These are great, but I also believe that there are areas around downtown that are worth mentioning. We moved to Ivanhoe Village from Atlanta a year ago and we love it! It’s super walkable with new shops, bars, and restaurants opening all of the time.

    • @kenpozek

  • @schmitty8225
    @schmitty8225 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

Ehh, maybe from a realtor's point of view they are walkable but not really. The only neighborhood that truly is as close to walkable would be South Eola. You can do everything there and never leave the neighborhood. There is a publix, different types of shops, restaurants, parks, and work locations all within the boundary which you would never need a car. Thats not the case with Baldwin Park. Is someone living on Brady Ln in Baldwin really going to walk to the Publix or any of the restaurants? Doubtful. The cities you mention are just wrong. You can't really say that because a city has a main street that its walkable.

Would be interested to hear what you think is walkable downtown. I mentioned College Park at the end. I could’ve probably mentioned Thornton Park as well, but for the most parts, not super walk-able.

    • @kenpozek
