Dragon bane is useful - but early game i always go and get bolars oatblade from Bloated Man's Grotto - dragon bane i wait til after lvl 46, like most of armour and weapons that is useful. I'ts just the grinding on smithing, enchantment and alcemy that is great to do first and also some few of the magic skills like the alteration and destruction and maybe the illution, Then pick what weapon of choice to bark up that tree.

Dude. Wheat + blue mountain flower = healing potion and vegetable soup is a beast for health. And at one point, I yelled “for gods sake, go and get that disease cured!” At my second monitor after hearing so many NPC’s comment on it! You made my Saturday of boring data cleansing fly by.
Hahaha I kept getting disease after disease. I’m not used to this, as an argonian you rarely get sick. I knew about the wheat and blue mountain flower combo. Didn’t know about the vegetable soup though… that is very good to know. And I’m glad I could bring some entertainment to your day :)

Just cleared all my save games and started my 6th playthrough. I have just under 200 mods. Several add new locations while others make it pretty. Running as a Breton for the first time. It should keep me busy for a few months as I'm a completionist. Excellent video. I'll be checking out a couple of mods from your list, mainly footprints. I used it a long time ago, but it was broken for a bit.

That was my first longplay of Skyrim I believe, this one is just played on Expert difficulty which feels balanced except for the frost trolls... those guys hit like a truck early game lol. Climbing the 7,000 steps to the top of High Hrothgar and setting the Frost Troll beat his chest just like he's gonna beat your face is the most terrifying thing in Elder Scrolls. You are awesome btw! I am actually an aspiring TH-camr/streamer and am in the middle of transitioning to more your style of content with the long uncut videos just because it feels so much more relaxing not having to worry about scheduling 2-4 vids a day. Playing this while listening to this as I’m getting ready to help the theives guild and also getting ready for bed….. sounds like a good time… I need to go mining for more ores…. I run out way to fast making houses and leveling my smithing….
Great longplay. Definitely the best channel for this type of content. I appreciate the smooth camera, stable FPS and graphics improvement mods. However, the gameplay feels kind of rushed. 10 hours longer, but at a more relaxed pace, would've been comfier to watch. Maybe as 2 parts if TH-cam doesn't allow 4K longer than 24 Hours. Bethesda games always tempt you loot and optimize everything. I remember in the original Skyrim & Fallout 3/NV days, I'd spend more time modding, looting, inventory managing and crafting than actually ENJOYING the game and atmosphere. In hindsight, I hate myself for not soaking in the atmosphere and story and being obsessed with every item instead. It may be "rewarding" for the player to loot everything, but for the viewer it's irritating to see half of the gameplay being inventory and loot screens. It also breaks immersion. For example, at 1:24:25, after just defeating a giant spider, the first move would be to free the trapped person. Instead, our gamer brains start looting sacs on the ground and running to chests to loot 5 gold first. Optimizing everything also makes the player overpowered and boss fights trivial. Looting while in-combat is also something that's very immersion-breaking. Checking if the boots of a downed bandit give +3 armor while other shoot arrows at you is weird when watched from the outside. A higher FOV would make it more chill and induce less motion sickness. Just some suggestions. Overall great upload. Appreciate it.

Sleeps again, wakes up at one point… “No I don’t need to play Skyrim again, go back to sleep” “But… What if I make a character who’s in every faction?” “No, sleep…Stormcloaks or Imperials?” “Imperials. It’ll be a big middle finger when I kill their emperor” “Fine, just watch the video.” About 30 minutes later “Light armor or heavy armor though… And what weapons?” “Well I’d need light armor and sneak for the brotherhood and thieves guild, but what about heavy armor for the companions and so I don’t potentially get killed easily” “Oh but what weapons though? Hmm, bow and two-handed maybe, but I could learn one-handed and shield. I could be a jack-of-all-trades character. What would her name be though? Can’t use Aurelia as she’s always been a good noble character, oooh what about Jax?! PERFECT!!!” Sighs and turns on my Xbox, now figuring out what to sacrifice to install Skyrim again. I’m thinking Disney Dreamlight Valley as I don’t need much space. I can’t watch any Skyrim videos without wanting to play, I have lost to Skyrim yet again lol

I do want to play the anniversary content at some point. I saw someone else playing it and dang they have some cool mods in there, especially some of the quests.
I remember watching an older video of this game that was broken into two parts. Lol You should cue the "Dragon Soul" at the end of Dragonball Z Kai intro everytime a dragon soul was absorbed.
I'm actually stuck in the game. It's my first time playing an Elder Scrolls game, I played for hours, but then realized that doing Hircine quests at lvl 13 equiped with steel armor and not upgraded weapon might not be the best idea. So I'm watching this to know where exactly I did go wrong 🤔
A couple small tips. I’ll try to write it out kind of simple. First thing is you’ll want to upgrade your smithing and enchanting levels and put a few points into perks that sound good into those trees. In order to get ingots, vendors sell them like blacksmiths or you could go mining ore veins can be found in mines. Cities that have mines nearby are markarth and dawnstar. You can find mines in your travels as well, also keep an eye out for ore veins sometimes you can just find them. Once you have ore you can make better armor and weapons. Then upgrade them at the grindstone and workbench. For enchanting you’ll want to keep soul stones you find on enemies and in chests. You can buy them from vendors but they’re expensive. In order to trap a soul: you need to have a soul trapped weapon or cast a soul trap spell. The annoying wizard in dragonsreach (whiterun) sells it. Fool around with the enchanting table and you’ll see you can disenchant items and apply a learned enchant like (increase health or stamina) on a piece of armor. Last thing I’d recommend is keep wheat and blue mountain flowers. You can buy them as well. Those combined can make health potions at the alchemy table. I guess that’s pretty much all I can recommend without kinda spoiling your experience. These are just base game tips but I can explain more or suggest more if you have more questions. Last last thing I’ll recommend is you can cook so keep salt piles and see what food you want to make. Good luck out there :)

Dude. Wheat + blue mountain flower = healing potion and vegetable soup is a beast for health. And at one point, I yelled “for gods sake, go and get that disease cured!” At my second monitor after hearing so many NPC’s comment on it! You made my Saturday of boring data cleansing fly by.
Hahaha I kept getting disease after disease. I’m not used to this, as an argonian you rarely get sick. I knew about the wheat and blue mountain flower combo. Didn’t know about the vegetable soup though… that is very good to know. And I’m glad I could bring some entertainment to your day :)

Just cleared all my save games and started my 6th playthrough. I have just under 200 mods. Several add new locations while others make it pretty. Running as a Breton for the first time. It should keep me busy for a few months as I'm a completionist. Excellent video. I'll be checking out a couple of mods from your list, mainly footprints. I used it a long time ago, but it was broken for a bit.
I literally just finished the Master difficulty part 2 Main Quest this past weekend and the longplay just the weekend before… I just had a feeling you were working on something amazing. THANK YOU

That was my first longplay of Skyrim I believe, this one is just played on Expert difficulty which feels balanced except for the frost trolls... those guys hit like a truck early game lol. @@LoopyLongplays They are a nightmare lol. Trolls are crazy scary on just about any difficulty. Climbing the 7,000 steps to the top of High Hrothgar and setting the Frost Troll beat his chest just like he's gonna beat your face is the most terrifying thing in Elder Scrolls. You are awesome btw! Thank you for all of your work that you do! I am actually an aspiring TH-camr/streamer and am in the middle of transitioning to more your style of content with the long uncut videos just because it feels so much more relaxing not having to worry about scheduling 2-4 vids a day. Just a video up and boom see you next upload. At least from the outside looking in. To keep it brief you are an inspiration and keep it the great work!!

As for breath of the wild…
I’ve wanted to play it for years 😭 I have access to a switch but just am unsure of how to record it. Also I would have to buy the game lol but that’s not an issue. Once I finally figure it all out (probably by watching a TH-cam video) and make sure Nintendo won’t sue me into oblivion… I’ll be ready to enjoy a playthrough of it. And then record it :)
Also thank you for asking so nice. Many of my requests are just. “Hey play this ___ game.” And half the time (well more than half the time) it’s not even related to anything I play on this channel lol. So thank you for recommending a game, that’s good but also for asking nicely ❤️

Great longplay. Definitely the best channel for this type of content.
I appreciate the smooth camera, stable FPS and graphics improvement mods.
However, the gameplay feels kind of rushed. 10 hours longer, but at a more relaxed pace, would've been comfier to watch. Maybe as 2 parts if TH-cam doesn't allow 4K longer than 24 Hours.
Bethesda games always tempt you loot and optimize everything.
I remember in the original Skyrim & Fallout 3/NV days, I'd spend more time modding, looting, inventory managing and crafting than actually ENJOYING the game and atmosphere.
In hindsight, I hate myself for not soaking in the atmosphere and story and being obsessed with every item instead.
It may be "rewarding" for the player to loot everything, but for the viewer it's irritating to see half of the gameplay being inventory and loot screens.
It also breaks immersion. For example, at 1:24:25, after just defeating a giant spider, the first move would be to free the trapped person.
Instead, our gamer brains start looting sacs on the ground and running to chests to loot 5 gold first.
Optimizing everything also makes the player overpowered and boss fights trivial.
Looting while in-combat is also something that's very immersion-breaking. Checking if the boots of a downed bandit give +3 armor while other shoot arrows at you is weird when watched from the outside.
A higher FOV would make it more chill and induce less motion sickness.
Just some suggestions. Overall great upload. Appreciate it.
100% agree the most about the FOV, just the most obvious and apparent to me from the beginning. quick open console and "fov '# above 80' "

I still prefer Argonian 🦎 But I wanted to go with a more traditional playthrough, for a mini series I’m planning. Best thing I like about Nord so far, heavy armor and helmets look good on them 😂

About 30 minutes later “Light armor or heavy armor though… And what weapons?” “Well I’d need light armor and sneak for the brotherhood and thieves guild, but what about heavy armor for the companions and so I don’t potentially get killed easily” “Oh but what weapons though? Hmm, bow and two-handed maybe, but I could learn one-handed and shield. I could be a jack-of-all-trades character. What would her name be though? Can’t use Aurelia as she’s always been a good noble character, oooh what about Jax?! PERFECT!!!”

I'm actually stuck in the game.
It's my first time playing an Elder Scrolls game, I played for hours, but then realized that doing Hircine quests at lvl 13 equiped with steel armor and not upgraded weapon might not be the best idea.
So I'm watching this to know where exactly I did go wrong 🤔
A couple small tips. I’ll try to write it out kind of simple.
First thing is you’ll want to upgrade your smithing and enchanting levels and put a few points into perks that sound good into those trees.
In order to get ingots, vendors sell them like blacksmiths or you could go mining ore veins can be found in mines. Cities that have mines nearby are markarth and dawnstar. You can find mines in your travels as well, also keep an eye out for ore veins sometimes you can just find them.
Once you have ore you can make better armor and weapons. Then upgrade them at the grindstone and workbench.
For enchanting you’ll want to keep soul stones you find on enemies and in chests. You can buy them from vendors but they’re expensive.
In order to trap a soul: you need to have a soul trapped weapon or cast a soul trap spell. The annoying wizard in dragonsreach (whiterun) sells it.
Fool around with the enchanting table and you’ll see you can disenchant items and apply a learned enchant like (increase health or stamina) on a piece of armor.
Last thing I’d recommend is keep wheat and blue mountain flowers. You can buy them as well. Those combined can make health potions at the alchemy table.
I guess that’s pretty much all I can recommend without kinda spoiling your experience. These are just base game tips but I can explain more or suggest more if you have more questions. Last last thing I’ll recommend is you can cook so keep salt piles and see what food you want to make. Good luck out there :)

Actually, I haven't upgraded it at all. I'll try mining in Dawnstar to upgrade smithing as you said, maybe after that I'll do the Companions guild quests, and then try to understand how exactly enchanting works.
