    Love your videos, me and my wife say what good videos because you get straight to the point and everything we have seen so far has been very helpful as we are new to caravaning and you have saved us from making a few mistakes before we go away next month for the first time 🙂👍

    I use the door bin to store rolls of cling film, foil and bin bags. Perfect fit for them and saves cupboard space. I wouldnt want a waste bin in the caravan and the door bin would be too small anyway. I have a collapsable waste bin in the awning which uses a bin bag, its not great as too light weight and may change it for a swing top bin in the future.

    Some great suggestions Sally. I'm not a camper-did alot of it growing up-but these are great tips for those that are. tThose portable coolers are great for traveling with in a car because they can be plugged into the cigarette lighter. Mine works for either keeping things cold or keeping them hot. Handy item for all kinds of uses. You're really becoming the Caravan expert. So wonderful to share tips and ideas. 💕🏕💕

    Sally it's not pink for sink it's pink for STINK. The pink flush washes away the stink!!!. ALWAYS use a measure & put the watering can in the hole to top up the flush.
    You didn't actually say that it is the flush that is topped up by the water in the watering can!
    Def tips rushed and could be confusing to a newbie. I would re-do this vlog before anyone gets it wrong.

    You need to get a wheel arch cover, will stop the draught coming through the wheel, also your air awning needs to be tighter to the van using either limpets or poles, it will depend on what awning you have, other than that I love your set up.xx

    Hi, entertaining vlogs. It may have been mentioned previously but there is a maximum weight that your caravan will be permitted to carry. You seem to carry a lot of “ extras “, particularly decorative that when totalled will amount to a considerable weight eating into your permissible , often low, payload. Might be worth a check. Not a criticism just an observation. 🤔

    • @SallyJacksTVMum
      @SallyJacksTVMum  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much Steve, veey kind for you to be thoughtful.
      I take everything down when travelling and pop in a plastic box either to carry to the car or to stay at home when we are away. But I'm not away in it much, I use more for a static, Hope that makes sense.

    I like the skirt with the storage compartments, where can I get one from and how much are they? Keep the vlogs going they are very informative.🐝🐝🐝

      I've popped a link in the description to the dometic with additional storage. However the skirt on its own is here www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kampa-Dometic-Caravan-Pro-Organiser-Draught-Skirt-AC0304-/353469476386?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286

    It's actually a better idea to premix your pink with the water before adding it to the tank. Concentration of pink in the tank can lead to the dreaded "black bits" in the flush system.

    I thought you put the legs down before leveling

    • @SallyJacksTVMum
      @SallyJacksTVMum  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've been taught the other way. The legs shouldn't be used for levelling. X

    • @lyndapotter8591
      @lyndapotter8591 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SallyJacksTVMum when I did my caravan course, with the caravan club, we put the legs down, and wound each one until the van was stable....we now have auto leveling, and it is the legs that level.

    • @SallyJacksTVMum
      @SallyJacksTVMum  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@lyndapotter8591 a spirit level is needed. You level with the front jockey wheel. You then level across the width of the caravan with what I call wheel blocks etc, if needed, I always carry them.
      You never level with the legs as it can damage the caravan. They are just there for stability.
      abigpeacheyadventure.com.au/level-caravan-uneven-ground/
      This tells you more about it and there are plenty more on caravan websites to give you advice.

    • @jomoore2161
      @jomoore2161 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely not, try to level the van left to right first, then front to back, then pop your legs down

    • @lindakirk698
      @lindakirk698 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      O no never ever! The legs are support. You could push the legs through the base of the caravan. Def level with jockey & blocks first then when level put legs down
