@@taylorlibby7642 Well actually... It seems that Williamsburg is now sometimes as expensive or even more expensive than DoBro or right across the Newtown creek in LIC Queens. I still think it's much cheaper than most of Manhattan though (of course on a value to price bases. For me usually older buildings are a huge minus. For example radiators that individual apts can't control for heating is a huge minus for me. And since Manhattan is a lot older there're a LOT of such buildings).
I wanted to love this place- it has nearly everything. The BIG thing that creeps me out would be putting a bed under windows on ground level. I dont think I could sleep knowing the bad guy could get to me fairly easily. Maybe if I had a big dog, but I couldn’t do it.
Right, that 1 bedroom is a bit too low to the ground. If it was slightly higher then maybe I would do it but probably NOT. I once lived in a small basement apartment (1 bedroom not in NYC) and I was also freaked out that my window was basically facing the front parking lot .
Your videos are really great. I love that you show the actual neighborhood for each of these places so people can actually get a feel for the area. Truly unique compared to the dozens of other real estate TH-camrs.
Throw your bedding in the bathtub (can’t fall out) to creat a bedroom, put down toilet seat cover and there you have a night stand for your alarm clock! Got to “go” during the night, you know that’s no problem 👍
After the disaster yesterday, Cash found an apartment in Brooklyn up to his quality standards and mine. Stunning! I really like it and this is the work he’s capable of. Today’s showing is like striking real estate gold and the neighborhood and the street are a desirable location. What’s not to love? Thanks, Cash!
I think the place is nice, but I don't think I would want my bed right by the street --no matter how quiet it might be. Also, I feel like I am living in my kitchen. It would be great if it had an additional room.
All you would have to do is rig a long tension rod from the ceiling and hand long curtains. White curtains would sort of make it look like a wall and then you just hang some light pictures on the curtains or some decorations to complete the look of a wall. You could also put folding screens in front of the kitchen area. You can work around a "decorative wall" as there would be enough space. Get creative!
This is a very nice studio apartments. I love how it is ground level. I appreciate that it has a real frigerator in it. The rent of $2200 is a little too high though.
I had some friends I met for dinner a few years ago that we’re paying almost $6k for a two bedroom unit, they both lived in one bedroom, and had SIX roommates in the other bedroom, with two 3 stacked bunk bed units. The apartment was mind-blowingly small, and the conversations had me laughing for weeks afterwards. Evidently one had brought a date home, and they did the deed with 5 other people in the same room trying to cover their ears. The comments were hilarious. The apartment was what we in Texas would call a one bedroom study.
Didn't see any closet space but I liked the apt and the neighborhood. I'd rent it. You might have to Uber for some heavy duty shopping. But once a month is doable that's what lists are for.

giant windows that you can break and literally step over on a first floor street-facing apartment seems like one reason that place isn’t renting at that price. Anyone who could afford that vs. the 1500 range probably already has some nice stuff.

As one who went to culinary school, when a good deal came to take $100 off of my vitamix, I jumped at it. Still much more expensive than your cheap blender you find at your local Wal-mart, but it has served me well and continues to be used.
Finally catching up on your videos. That was really good apartment, something I would rent. NGL studios that are rectangular and have full size kitchens are really nice.
It’s a super nice space but NO closets or storage! I would for sure take that outlet by the front door snd use it to house storage options like a wardrobe
Greenpoint was a traditional Polish neighborhood where generations grew up and stayed in the neighborhood. I'm glad to see that there are still some Polish elements. The apartment is nice but I agree with pji1979. A studio traditionally had two rooms, a separate kitchen and living area, plus a bathroom.
That corner looks like it would be big enough for full/queen bed. I would just slide a box spring with a mattress in there and use the rest of the place for living room/dining room.
Not big on studios, but i really like this. I also like the surroundings. Especially the park and the Polish restaurant. (My last name ends in 'ski'.). And i like that front window even though it's ground floor. Id put plantation shutters on it to insure privacy. Really nice.
I saw an apt. that had an H- shaped partition in the middle of the one room apt. One side of it was towards the kitchen and had table and chairs against it. Anther side had a bed. Another had a desk and chair. And one was towards the biggest space left in the apt. and was the living room. It worked well.
Mine, too! Polish on both sides. Although I just found out my grandfather on my father’s side was born in Germany! The last name was Laczynski, but my parents changed it when they got married. They got tired of spelling it and teaching people how to say it.

A few years ago, that would be a $900 studio in my town. These days, $1200, easy, even though we don't really have a lot of studio apartments in this part of Texas. With all of the people coming in from out of state, it probably won't be long before we're seeing $2K+ studios.
The area is excellent; I use to work around this area😄; Cash your right, the G train is terrible, I usually take the 2 and 5 trains and then the 38 bus and walk.

This is the only channel I like the music and intro
Thanks
That is one cute place. Big appliances and a nice floor at a low price. Well it didn't have a sink sprayer. But if you tip the super well, he/she will put one in for you. Learning the ways of NYC thanks to Mr. Cash LaJordon! 🍸🍸🍸🍸🍷🍷🍷🍷☕☕☕☕☕☕🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🥤🥤🥤🥤🥤🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂☕☕☕☕☕☕🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🌭🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮🌯🌯🌯

A few years ago, that would be a $900 studio in my town. These days, $1200, easy, even though we don't really have a lot of studio apartments in this part of Texas. With all of the people coming in from out of state, it probably won't be long before we're seeing $2K+ studios.
I would use the corner for the bed. I sleep on an tatami Futon.
Could hide it during the day
The area is excellent; I use to work around this area😄; Cash your right, the G train is terrible, I usually take the 2 and 5 trains and then the 38 bus and walk.
Nice but still expensive for a studio..I like the way you always include the neighborhood.
I love the neighbourhood tours!
I used to live in Greenpoint on Freeman Avenue off of Manhattan Ave. The Manhattan Restaurant is one of the best places ever to grab great grub at a sweet price with portions made for a giant..always had leftovers. That's a sweet apartment...somebody rent it quick and then go grab a triple decker turkey sandwich at the Manhattan :)
LOL! You get NWO & the eye! I had NO idea you've done your research! I'll subscribe now ;) Your channel is so interesting. That's why I'm here now. If I ever move to NY (no time soon lol) I'm def contacting you. Keep up the great work, in real estate and research! :)
I love this apartment!! Especially the floors!
Really so nice......makes me want to take a Brooklyn vacation....for a few months!😀 I will try to get on that tambourine gig rotation schedule!😂
Would by one of the hidden bed units. I would make that little space by the door as a closet space.
Cash, in Brooklyn, says, "Look! You can see lower Manhattan!" Cash, in Manhattan, never says, "Look! You can see Brooklyn!"
I really liked that place. Now if only I lived in NYC. Hey i didn't know you were swedish. Trevligt att jag hittade hit :-D
Cash, it’s May 1st in NYC and it looks like you’re wearing a winter jacket? Apt is pretty nice.
This is eerily similar to my place in decor and fixtures, so I have to wonder if my landlord company owns this building. If so, we’re only paying $150 more for three bedrooms with all the same amenities!
