Also Japanese cards are what got censored but they remain unchanged which is so cool, i love japanese YuGiOh cards. I also love how the Japanese manga was too violent for anime and japanese anime too violent for dub
The amount of rarities guaranteed in one box is absolutely absurd! Insane reprints too! The 25th anniversary secret rarity looks like a cross of a CR and an extra secret rare
It's hard to believe 25 years have passed since the creation of Yugioh. I'm impressed that you can recognize these Japanese cards. That Egyptian God Slime card looks sick!
I already really love the look of Japanese starlights, having the extra 25th anniversary embossing looks pretty epic, I hope the rarity looks like this over here in tcg land Edit: our starlights look fine on all standards, but everytime I see a Japanese card irl there's something just more quality about them it's hard to explain.
I wish we would get some OCG products in Greece also. Here it's even hard to find newest releases because there are not many good stores that sell yu gi oh cards
I bought both the legendary collection and the pot collection so I really appreciate you making this video! I love the idea of quarter century rares. I have no idea if they're gonna go massively big, or flop but I just know they're cards I want to keep so that won't matter to me :)
There gonna flop here except some of the pot cards. The God card will be almost worthless. The tcg needs to give us a set like this. It's over double retail for this set and so is the older 20th anniversary set in the ocg. That set was so damn good it was insane. There gonna fuck us like they always do. I'm hoping they'll swap the starlights here for 25th anniversary in the booster sets but they probably won't cause they didn't give us 20th anniversary foils either. I'm hoping they'll put em in the old reprint booster boxes that come in June, like invasion of chaos and legend of blue eyes.
Man. OCG cards look so nice. I do like the fact the different cards can come in any rarity. I agree with you about the quarter century rares basically looking just like starlights. It would have been nice to have a completely new rarity for those. But I'm sure I'll have to collect them all when they come out.
Every new rarity is very cool but i still hope that the 25th rarity doesn`t have such a less value as the duel terminal rares from Hidden Arsenal Chapter 1.
@@ihsaanrawat2583 yea cause it's gonna be a god card and easy to pull. Hopefully they'll put the 25th anniversary rarity in the actual booster boxes coming in June. If they do those will be really expensive depending on ratios.
In japan this set is gonna go nuts. The older 20th anniversary set in japan had some dumb expensive cards especially in 20th anniversary rarity. Still very expensive for sealed product.
These cards look really nice. TCG needs to make their cards even shinier. The shinier the cardboard, the more likely I will spend money on it, it's a simple formula.
@@lunaticmode638 Hey, if you liked what Ruxin showed you here also consider checking out my channel! Im a TH-camr from Japan and I do OCG content only! Sorry for bothering you if you were not interested. Wishing you a nice day!
I'm glad Ruxin is doing this. I really wanted to do it myself, but the lowest prices I'm seeing is $150, which is pretty steep for a high chance to not get a single 1/4 Century Rare.
The 25th rarity looks really cool, but I gotta say that the Collector's Rare looks a tad cooler to me! The texture worked especially well with the Godslime card imo. Crazy openings, cant believe YGO is already 25 years old, like that series was with me ever since I was a kid.
this product is absolutely awesome. if it was in english with all these sick rarities and card selection it'd be the equivalent of when ultimate masters for MTG came out (an absolute BANGER of a product to open, basically was unbeatable for a few years)
6:03 I love how he struggles to figure out which Knightmare Link Monster it is when all he had to do was look at the card art and see that there's a single horn protruding from the horse's head. Y'know, like a *_UNICORN_* !!!
I’m not disappointed with the 25th edition rarity at all. I was expecting the “speed duel” like stamp and honestly it works! I would’ve settled for just all foil but the rainbow effect is pretty cool too
As an OCG player, it's always a blessing to get another rarity collection (this is the 4th one) which drops the staple and barrier of entry heavily due to the available reprint in every RC set
As excited as I am for the 25th Century Rares out of the Legendary Collection re-release, I feel have to temper my expectations with how quality control has been. Nothing feels worse than pulling a starlight, or even chase secret in these new sets, and seeing a corner ding or odd circular indent somewhere. And then there are the cards that were cut out crooked. I wished we got OCG quality here.
Those ocg cards are insane, would love to see them bring some of them over to tcg! I think the 25th anniversary cards whips the hardest for sure, should be called ultra/ulti starlights in the future if they bring them to tcg without the stamps!
I love you showing off ocg products they tend to go under my radar otherwise. I got the secret utility box after your video on it and was really amazed at how high quality everything was.
The fact that you can get any card with any rarity is so damn cool, and the quarter anniversary rarity cards are even cooler, also, the 3000/2500 stat dragon monster you thought is a blue eyes card is actually a galaxy eyes card
I like that stamp, like the speed duel cards. I would love all cards being able to be pulled in every rarity in one set. Like a chase card in common, so you can play everything you need for a little money
Six rarities for each card. Also, there are only 2 holographic cards( Ash Blossom / Nibiru). There is also the alternate arts for Knightmare Unicorn and Eldlitch the Golden Lord that only come in the set as ultimate and collectors rares. A 486 card set….amazing! Looks like you didn’t pull Pot of Prosperity, Winn the Wind Charmer, Pot of Averice, Eldlitch or Infinite Imperminance. It’s funny how there is so many cards and yet you can still miss some. Excellent video, one of my favorite sets so far for this year .

wasn't expecting anything to crazy with the 25th Century SR anyway, so not to bothered by them looking like Starlights. Excited for them to come in the TCG including all these retro packs!
I actually love this product so much. I wish we had something like it, combining all the different rarities. I think i prefer our Ultimate rare over the OCG one though
These cards look insane, can't wait to open the 25th anniversary edition boxes, nostalgia hits different from the early 2000's times, when life seemed easier and more fun 😀
I absolutely love the looks of the rarities and have no problem with the 25th rarity being similar to a starlight, but I hope the quantity of high rarity pulls are lower in tcg. It feels awesome in the moment, but from a collector and even player perspective it feels like a cheap/not great set when I can buy one box and guarantee a starlight. It's why GFTP2 fell off in a bad way (aside from the bad scuffing and quality control). Pulling high rarity is awesome, but pulling it when it's hard too makes the card feel that much better
This set is actually crazy value for the OCG players like my self. since now i can finally afford to get a play set of Urara (ash blossom) , lighting storm and evenly matched for super cheap and not to mention on how pretty the cards looks in those rarities 🤩
