I do think some of the point values can shift around a bit as you alluded to throughout the vid, but definitely an awesome framework One idea I was thinking is more of a livestream thing. Whenever you're doing a paid box break (of any era), I think it would be cool to tack on an extra $20-25 or so to the cost per pack. While opening (or within a month or so of opening), whoever bought each pack gets to choose one card that they pulled (per pack) to be sent in or grading. It can be sent in as a bulk order (outside of any huge hits), and when it returns, it can produce a second piece of content (either video or livestream) where each buyer's chosen card and their grades are revealed.

Today I opened my first yugioh purchase ever (a 2022 tin of the pharaoh s gods) and I manage to pull a 'Dark ruler no more' card . I know it's not the most insane pull,but I know it's sth special bcs it's my first ever opening of a yugioh product. Thank you so much for doing what u do here on TH-cam, keep up the good work and don't forget there are ppl like me that rly apreciate the content u produce each and every day for us all. We’re in for the long run on this and I’m not complaining! The point system is a fantastic idea and keeps it really fun! One thing I think would improve the concept is to have a point treshold (like a match point) so once you reach say 12 points, you have to pull an Ulti, CR, Ghost or Starlight!
I do love the won’t stop opening videos, definitely some of my favorite videos. I am going to guess around 70 packs…. I do like this point system method, the only thing that I wouldn’t like is if you got all 12 point from only ultra rares. Of course ultra rares are mixed but who doesn’t want to see the higher rarities? Haha. I personally would’ve loved to have seen either ghost rare Dark Magician or ghost rare The Winged Dragon if Ra, but the beautiful starlight at the end was an amazing way to end it.
Love the concept of the video. As for one little nitpicky thing for the editor, when the points pop up on screen, it may be best to leave out the fullscreen white flash. It doesn't seem necessary with the sound effect.

i love these longer openings so i hope it takes at least 20+ packs and my favorite you opened in this video was Dawn of Majesty, it’s not a very valid packed set but i think the starlights are so dope!
Such a great concept!! I love the variety that this structure brings. A lot of ways to iterate on this too. Would love to see some vintage packs integrated into the rotation as well, but understand it's already a high cost of packs.

I’m thinking the point system can be making it to 10 points with ultras at 1, secrets at 2, ultis at 3, collector rares at 4, ghost rares at 5, and starlight’s at 6. it probably achieves the same thing but i like how a starlight or ghost rare still has the potential to jump the score to goal range while still not making those cards instant wins. Love the videos hope my suggestion isn’t that bad
Wait why is there going to be no more starlights this year... They cant all be collectors rare sets!?!? Idk but I cannot wait to open up some of the legendary collections plus some mrd IOC and lob booster boxes

Maybe you make these videos once a week (rather expensive I know but hey) and you have a yearly scoreboard where all the points are added and you see how good you did and try to beat that score next year. You could also do some kind of tiers, so lets say you get x points in a year and then you will do a giveaway depending on how you did (lol would be a lose lose but also a win because you got "lucky" with your packs and we get lucky too with the yearly giveaway^^) What would make this more interesting is to know how many packs you exactly needed to achieve the score you did. Thats only if you or your editor is down to count^^ But yeah I love this format and would love to see it evolve!

How about keep the point system but have an over/under bet on the points and a set number of packs. You bet on the over/under and either reward or punish yourself/viewers on the outcome. For the viewers you can have two different giveaways if you guess correct or not

EDIT: ok so I actually lost count of the packs, but... my favorite out of the big variety of sets here was MAZE, with PHHY coming close! It was quite the fun video for sure! Also, what a WAY to end it! Congrats in getting one step closer to your collection goal!

I like the points system, it probably need a few more runs to see what the ideal amout is, but I think it shows a lot of promise!
Why was 5 points skipped? It went from 1-4 then 6. I get the 10 point one, but it weirdly is sad for 5 there.

Maybe instead of points, you could go by value, like reaching $100-200 based on the potential of your selected packs.

This is a pretty cool idea! So concerning ratio you might need maybe 1,5 sealed booster boxes for the goal. So I guess 36 packs.

GFTP1 was my favorite pack, but very happy how finished up with a slam dunk after staying at the layup line the whole time. 😅
