Thank you so much for these videos. I have gotten tired of poorly made, low effort games on Roblox so I am starting to get into game development. Plus I have always wanted to develop games
Great tutorial! I've learned quite alot. Even after 4 years of developing i realized i have alot of stuff i did not know existed in roblox studio.. keep it up
Les go I've been waiting for a video like this, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! (Also, congrats on 30K, you deserve it and much more for all this very helpful content!!)
Just a tip: you can block out the shapes of things you're making, like I'm making a racing game with a city between 2 mountains. I'd recommend to block out building, just place roads (I'd recommend the beatiful roads plugin it's free and has a great tutorial and tricks you can do). You can make the roads first or terrari first, I'm recommend doing a few roads and lining them with buildings (just making a part and scaling it to different sizes and duplicating to another place and changing it) And if you're making cars I'd recommend using a more blocky style if you're less experienced, try to do more blocky cars like audi sport Quattro or for maximumus easius make an old rv just to try out some things. If you make a car watch a tutorial for a chassis. Just some things ive learned so far. It's a lot easier than it sounds to make some basic things, it just takes a lot of time. If you make a city they're all flat (:c) so if you make a city and want it to have an extra little unique thing/challenge give it some small hills
Another tip: if you use a laptop get a mouse or pentablet. I use a pentablet. It'll be easier to get smaller increments in my opinion since it's literally using a pen as a mouse amd you can easier use things like photoshop or make your own thumbnail fir your game, I'd recommend commissioning someone for that if you think your game will pay for it or it already did
I also downloaded the plugins as recommended. The worked perfectly. I got super excited after I made the house. I want to do more. I hope you continue to upload more video’s. Im excited and motivated than ever now to keep on going and pushing👍🏾. Thank you again for this video it was huge help for me.
that control+d helps out so much, i used to do control+c then control+v and it took ages to get that part to the same spot and move it over some, especially when working with small parts. thank you so much (everything is good just the control+d helps me out alot more because im what they called a noob builder)
I hope you're doing well. I wanted to share how impressed I am by the Roblox studio pictures you've been posting recently - your creativity and skills as a builder are truly inspiring. Every detail captures your artistic vision so beautifully. The landscapes you've designed showcase your sublime ability to craft immersive worlds. From the terrain formations to the foliage, everything flows together naturally yet imaginatively. Players surely feel transported into another realm as they explore the wonderful environments you've brought to life. I'm also in awe of how delicately you decorate each scene. Every element, from the architecture to props, enriches the atmosphere and adds personality. The charm you imbue draws viewers in and sparks their imagination. It's clear you have an innate talent for set design that transports Roblox spaces into compelling story worlds. Perhaps most remarkable is your knack for lighting. Whether illuminating sprawling vistas or intimate spaces, you give each scene a mood and emotion through subtle yet impactful illumination. Shadows, reflections, and ambient glows create a lifelike depth that delights the senses. Players undoubtedly feel a stronger connection to your meticulously crafted locations because of this subtle but powerful storytelling tool. With each new picture, your mastery of Roblox's toolkit and design principles continues to impress. You have an obvious passion for your craft that radiates from your work. I feel privileged every time I see glimpses of the magical worlds you envision and bring to life so strikingly through your building. You are truly an inspiration to fellow creators like myself. Please keep sharing your amazing creations - they never cease to amaze and uplift me. Your talent and dedication are inspiring. I look forward to hopefully exploring your locations in-game one day and witnessing firsthand the awe-inspiring spaces you architect.

Let's just all agree it was kinda funny how Smarty was getting annoyed with the building in roblox studio, even though we're having the same problem too while watching the tutorial.
When using the move tool: If you have the move tool cursor closest to the screen you get super fine movements. BUT when the move tool cursor is on the other side of the part and your trying to get super fine movement it moves a lot faster. Sometimes when I select a group of parts or a whole model, It's not possible to move the move cursor closer to the screen for fine movements. I do have an understanding there is a Model > move (X) Studs but that only lowers to one stud movements. Not all parts are lined up to every stud. I hope I explained this right and hope to find a fix I hope someone can develop a plugin for this
so i have a bit of experience with roblox studio from when i was just messing around sometimes and finding new feautures, but this video really helped me understand different buttons and feautures to roblox studio, when i was just messing around with it i didnt really understand the buttons on the top or anything i would mostly use the toolbox and make some stupid escape the rock johnson game or sum, ty for this video this helped me to be decent at building roblox game.
