It's really cool seeing your excitement around your project, thats something the game industry has been missing for a while. Can't wait too see where I leads.
YOU HAVE ME SOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED BROTHERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, this game is gonna be so rad, and I love when you get advice as you go, peak dev strats fr
you currently have these 3 combos, if you want them to be more fluid you should make sure that the swings you create are in the same final position as the previous one, I think it's better this way, think like elden ring that you do more attacks continues with the same frame of the first attack etc, as if it were a single animation but separated into several parts or I don't know. sorry for my english if something was not understood XD
About this choppiness in your attack animation. Just know that animating in Unity is a job itself and a fairly complicated one as you have many ways to do it, whether you use triggers or any other variables, layers and overrides, blend trees or not,... So there is a bit of a learning curve here but you'll get use to it by watching tutorials and experimenting. Maybe to make it simple you could put all the attack animations in one "Attack" Layer (that will override) and then add your 3 attack animations in there. Link them with transitions and for each transition, in the inspector (after clicking on one of them), you will have a kind of frame with sort of two timelines (one for each animation that are linked by the transition). This is where you can adjust how an animation will visually transition smoothly to another (by moving the frames and the transition zone). I'm fairly new to Unity myself and I am not working on 3D anymore, but I kinda remember it was a bit of work to get the perfect result I needed (an I used exactly the same animations as you back then). Now I am working in 2D, no blending, drawing my own animations,... Good luck in your journey.
@@austenspeirs6610 as for how you learn is just by doing it. Make small games and try to figure out how the engine works (every engine has it strong suits and it’s weak points). The most important part is just starting

Also , don't stress too much take care
I know I didn't add that much this video, from now on I'll only make a video whenever I added something major
I just like to hear you did something.
I don't mind the smaller, more frequent updates. But bigger videos is cool too. Do whatever is easier for you. We'll watch either way.
You can make videos on small updates to , is always good to hear where you are in the journey
Good luck 👍
don't worry about that, just do what you can!
Absolute banger of a video man, good job and good luck
Thx ❤

@@RandomIndieDev Sure thing
No worries you won't Have issues when Using Unity Engine I promise you 😊
Yes, Unity is one of the best game engines out there, it is a good starting engine, and a good engine once your good.
@@The_hanky One thing I love about the Engine are the features for Level Design
@@Protech-ps6cwyes, the layout, and level creation is very simple and good. I also enjoy how the asset organization is aswell
with that foot placement what would happen if u walk to an edge??
would his feet go all the way down???
@@mkhitarhovhannisyan2050 depends on the size of the edge, for a small edge it goes all the way down but for a bigger one it would just hang
