heyooo, here is the highly requested "how i edit my videos" video!!!! 🌟 I'm going over everything from what programs i use and how i keep my computer from crashing a bajillion times to my favorite fonts and memes. this video is a lil lengthy BUT it's jam-packed with my juicy tips, and i hope it was helpful!
this video assumes that you have some basic editing skills & are somewhat familiar with Adobe Premiere, but some tips also apply if you work with Final Cut Pro. if you're watching this as a total beginner, I BELIEVE IN YOU. starting is half the battle.

this was so helpful! i feel like everyone on this side of youtube uses final cut pro, so their tutorials aren't as useful to me. and THANK YOU for explaining proxies, premiere pro always goes so slow for me and crashes and i was at the end of my mf ROPE
edit: after using the proxy method a couple times, i want to add that i have to change from quicktime to h.264 when it’s time to upload the footage. otherwise the file is HUGE and it takes hours longer to upload, and sometimes it won’t even upload at all. idk if that’s because i don’t have a mac or what, but i figured this info might be helpful for someone!

If you do end up switching from Adobe premiere pro to final cut pro, I would love a video that compares your experience with both. (I currently still use inShot which feels limiting, but I am nervous to make the jump to something more advanced). Ooo I'd also love a video about how you organize and store your footage!

Thought to mention at 3:39 to be careful with what you take as a sound effect because if the wave matches a specific sound from a Foley (SPFX sound artist for films) art's library you might be liable for it. Best to just look for free or close to free open-source, commercial-free sound effects than ripping them off. Just saying.

Adobe illustrator and photoshop! I’m mostly self taught but I’ve been using Skillshare’s graphic design courses to learn a lil more these days 😇😇😇
