The only thing that I would do differently is that I would have bought the second leather chair to use in another space so that I could bring it in the office and use it for potential client meetings. Fantastic job Drew. You have created something special. Get yourself a carved wooden throne to use as a desk chair. It's good to be King.
@@lonefox Great! And put them both on the other side of your desk. I was the executive assistant to three presidents and they all had two chairs for staff or client meetings. There’s room and they look stunning together!
I think in future you may regret not buying the 2nd little matching leather chair. If you can still buy it, it would look great in a corner of the office with a few stacked books on it and then so easy to pull over to the desk if you ever need an extra seat at the desk.
Well, you've made it! You have your own home, your own channel, your own business, and your own office. You have worked tremendously hard for all of it. It has been and continues to be a joy to watch all of your successes and little unsuccess's. You are incredibly talented, Drew.
That light you hung in the office is just gorgeous. But I think if you hung just one long beautiful painting instead of the gallery wall it would compliment that light fixture better. Not that there's anything bad about the gallery wall because I love my gallery wall but that light....I'm obsessed. So awesome job on the office. You give me so much INSPO all the time.
@@iwannamana375Agree! I was eyeing off the narrow orange oriental style vertical print between the 2 leather chairs Drew bought. Would look great in the middle of the gallery wall aligned to the light.
As someone who loves decor but only do my own spaces, I have to say of any designer/decorator who features their craft on YT, you’ve had the biggest influence on “my style”. Gearing for a move and feel like my home is going to get even more foxy than it already is! So grateful you choose to share your gift on this platform
Drew, congratulations this room is so beautiful restful yet extremely interesting for the eye. I love the eclectic shapes and antiques. The natural organic colours are so gorgeous and enveloping. What is the paint colour please? I am lucky that I found (on the roadside) an older style incredibly comfortable ergonomic desk chair in olive/ lead colour it “disappears” into my walls being a similar colour on that spectrum. I hope you find a really comfortable ergonomic chair too.
The gallery art is great. I’m loving the look and feel of the office! Very European. Good call on the light! I wasn’t sure at first, but you were right. So pretty. The rust-colored leather is a beautiful color against the green walls. I thought your chair looked really uncomfortable. I’m glad you’re going to swap it out. Rodin is pronounced Roe-dan. Yes, I’m a Rodin fan. Our city public art gallery here in South Australia has a large collection of duplicate full size Rodin sculptures on permanent display which I love a lot.
Drew when you show the office room B4 and after it looks as though it was always in the house just the way you made it! It almost looks like a historic space 👍👏😊❤️
Drew, you pronounce Rodin as row-dan. There are loads of reproductions out there but you should look and see if it is also signed with a foundry mark. All authentic Rodin’s will have one and you can easily google it. Its worth a look. Love all you do.
Love that mirror! I'm pretty sure it's made from an old Catholic thing called 'stations of the cross'. There are 14 in total and many Catholic churches have them inside on the walls. Looks like someone removed what would have been a painting and installed a mirror instead. I've seen plenty throughout my lifetime to recognize!
Ok THANK YOU! I was hoping there would be at least one other person here to back me up on this!! What other reason would there be for the roman numerals?!
I agree with the station of the cross frame turn into a mirror. The 8th represents Jesus meeting the women of Jerusalem. But people in Spain are usually Catholic, so it fits with the Spanish style.
Gorgeous! At first I was a bit weirded out at the 1940's portrait, it was so different than the rest of the art, and it felt like someone was looking over your shoulder lol. But then, I realized that if it was my office, I'd have to name him and talk to him and listen to his advice on my work, and then I wasn't weirded out any more!
Seldom do I dislike anything Drew does for home decor, but I have to say; I dislike the portrait painting! I haven’t a clue why he chose it?!? At first I thought: Is he hanging up a photo of a family relative?!? Then when I saw that it was an unknown Asian person, I thought…well, aside from it looking like a young Ho Chi Min of the Communist party?!?😳…Oh well, it’s his house, his wall, and if he likes “that” hovering behind him; bless his heart, right?!?🤪😂😆
The Eastlake movement is right in line with all your 19th century design vibe for your office it was started by British architect and writer Charles Eastlake and lasted almost a century (1836-1906). The movement is generally considered part of the late Victorian period in terms of broad antique furniture designations. It’s one of my favorite periods! Btw I ❤❤❤ your office!
I love the green and red brown colors. So glad you are getting a chair that you can use for hours. Working at home during covid sitting in my dinner chair was eye-opening. Even a pillow did not help.
The office is magnificent. There's not one thing about it I wouldn't want to have for myself...from the color on the walls to the furniture and art. I can't wait to see the stained glass windows.
Two things I love most about this makeover. That ceiling! wow! And that adorable gum wrapper tramp art with the picture of you and Marie. How precious.
Drew, just thank you! Watching your videos adds so much pleasure to my life! I find myself talking to you while watching the videos and gasping in delight at every new thing you add to a room. That lamp is EVERYTHING! In fact it is ALL so absolutely stunning!! I wish I could steal you away for a weekend to help me with my space. You are quite the artist! Can’t wait for the next video
I really love it when you share your thought process of how you choose your pieces. Looking at them individually, I would never imagine they would go together, but you put them together, and they do! Only explanation I can come up with is that you're magical! ☪️✨️🪬🔮🌠💫🧞♂️ Love your style, Drew! 💙
Obviously it had that grouping appeal of three; however, at the end the finished result with the addition of the desk lamp really vibed perfectly but knowing Drew He Loves versatile Designs where He's Able to move things Around as Moods Change.. Never is He stagnate, because He Loves mixing up His Spaces around but that's what keeps us aware and alert...and Loving these Designs 💘😍
This room turned out so beautiful. So many little treasures at every turn. I was so happy to see you bring in the curvy elements to balance all the masculine. This out-of-the-way space is a jewelbox. Great job, Drew!
I really hope you have the opportunity to do a coffee table book on all the things you're doing to your house and your current design era! I'm seriously loving it! P.s. (I dont know if you've done this already, so if you have i apologise) I would suggest popping another curtain bracket in the centre of the curtain pole. I didn't do this in my home and the pole started to sag and there was too much pressure on the 2 brackets so they started to pull away from the wall! 😭
Drew, I have watched the video three times so far. Love everything. Love seeing you edit in real time. This goes so well with the rest of the home and there is no one like you on YT which is so refreshing and inspiring. Hope you find a comfier yet just as epic desk chair.
Your style evolved so much since the beginning, LOVE every room of your home so far, so unique and personal, your house is gonna be such a gem! Well done Drew! 🙌
I love the soft, moody look of this room. But I would love to see that adorable little oil painting placed on your shelves on a little easel. It’s too tiny to hang that high up.
Every video of yours I see, Drew, I think this is the best one yet, and you've done it again. Your style is so eclectic, and yet everything goes well together, because there are certain recurring themes, like your colour palette, the textures, pieces of pottery, patinas. Living in a very rural area of Europe, my taste is normally French and English country style, but you knock me out with your modern American vibe, just love it.
You never cesse to inspire. The passion that you have for what you do shows in everything that you share with us. I can’t wait to see what you design for Marie’s new bedroom.
I’ve been waiting for this!!😊❤ Macenna would be envious of that teeny tiny oil painting!! She’s been on the hunt! 😂 ….final edit: Drew you are talented beyond your years! Your office is AMAZING
Wow! The room turned out beautiful Drew! Both lighting fixtures are gorgeous! It is a good idea to let curtains hang for at least a couple days before hemming. The weight of the fabric will lengthen the curtains.
My mother always made all of the curtains in our home, growing up. I’m (fortunately) familiar with all of the things you show in your podcasts. It’s very nostalgic. Great job educating people on “how to’s” so we can do our homes in the same professional way. Many thanks.
You are magic. Your sweetness and genuineness ooze through wrapped around an iron strong aesthetic and design sense. Breathless with every beautifully curated space.
There just aren't even words Drew. This transformation , on your office is unfreaking real . I can't believe how much character and personality you have added to it. Definitely magazine worthy . Thank you so much for sharing your talent with all of us. Bravo 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😍
Of course the office looks beautiful! I especially love how it looks when the outdoor light is streaming in through the tall windows, across your desk, and hitting the walls a bit. It somehow gives me a real comforting feeling, a little bit nostalgic. And I LOVE OVE LOVE the miniature oil painting!

Another fantastic makeover I adore everything, like others have mentioned I would have bought the matching leather chair. Drew you are so talented. It’s a joy to see every room as you work your way through the house. Well done.
That is an office I can see myself working in, its so serene. I cannot wait to see the stain glass idea for the window that you have. As always, each room of your house is turning out amazing and looks as if it was always intended to be that way.
Yeah, Drew... because that desk lamp is what's going to bring in the clients for consults and not your incredible talent and personality! 😂 You nut! I love the 'through the archway' shot at 19:02. ❤❤ And THANK YOU for showing how you hung the curtains from rings with those little metal hooks. I just picked up some beautiful custom made pleated drapes from the thrift store and was trying to figure out how to hang them. Perfect timing!!
This was just beautiful. It made me cry. My very good artist friend died a year ago after fighting cancer for many years. You would’ve loved her. I used to tease her that when I looked up the word “diligent” in the dictionary, her picture was there. That’s what I see in you... your artistic eye & your diligent spirit to create something beautiful.
Drew. This make over is stunning. You are the most talented design person I have seen. Bravo on your home. Can’t wait for the stain glass DIY. Thanks again for all your hard work
I love mullioned windows. It's so cool you can just buy the faux mullions to insert in your plain windows. They look so much better now. Your office is to die for! You have such good style sense
i love it in Drew videos when my eye is catching on something (i dont even always know what!) and then drew himself points out the flaw and changes it to something perfect! in this case, those sconces.
Another beautiful creation. It is such fun watching your enthusiasm while going through the process and the presenting your final (for now) arrangement off your collected treasures, some bargain finds, some justified for their enjoyment level. 😊 Well done! Now we look forward to what chair you will find that can support a 4 hour editing session comfortable,as well as satisfy your estetics. Good luck!
Ugh, I have been watching your chanel for a while now and it is time I say it....your extraordinary design style and the impeccable aesthetics of your home. Your ability to create spaces that effortlessly blend functionality and beauty captivates me each time. Your design choices exhibit a remarkable sense of balance, capturing the essence of both modern and timeless elements. The way you harmonize colors, textures, and patterns demonstrates an exceptional eye for detail, resulting in spaces that are both elegant and sophisticated. Each element thoughtfully chosen and placed, contributing to a cohesive and harmonious composition. You inspire me with the way you seamlessly blend different design influences to create a distinctive and personalized aesthetic. You have my heartfelt appreciation for your exceptional design.
This has got to be one of the most beautiful rooms that you have ever created. Each peace, each addition has been so thoughtfully curated and placed. I watched the video twice in order experience the progression towards the final reveal. Thank you for sharing your gift for interior design with us.

I can't even describe how I am blown away with how you put it all together. The colors, the mix match decor, the lighting, the vibe is fantastic!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
I Love what you did in the office. The light fixture, the sconces, the chairs…especially the rattan (dreamy) and the table lamp is everything. What a great job 👏🏽 🎉😊
I'm really surprised you didn't make the window pane panels. After doing the ceiling, it would have been a walk in the park. You're EXTREMELY talented 😊
Hi Drew! I just found your channel a week ago when I was searching around for inspiration for my new home. First I was looking around for diy bedside tables and then ideas for a small office space in my bedroom. I ended up watching a bunch of your diy videos and also the office you made in you old flat, then the video with your landlord reacting to the apartment makeover and after that where you told us the sad news that he had passed away. But when watching that video I also realized that you had bought this house, and now I have literally been binge watching your entire journey from the announcement up to this video and I have loved every minute of it! Your are such a talented, inspiring and lovely person, and so are your friends. I was so happy when you pained this room green, that is my favorite color as well and I have green walls in my current bedroom and I absolutely love this room and would love to have a similar feeling in my new home. The new one is a rental though and probably temporary before moving to a bigger flat so I will probably keep the walls white. But I think I will definitely be adding greens in curtains and such and also bring some darker wood to get a cozy vibe. This makeover was very inspiring and I really loved how it turned out! I'm really looking forward to your upcoming videos, it feels a bit empty now that I'm up to date and have to wait for your uploads 🙈
Oh Drew, you knocked it out of the park again on the office! I love the paintings behind the desk (the Asian man and the miniature are so lovely)! I also love that little gazelle sculpture or whatever kind of animal it is. You have some really beautiful pieces. Yes, for sure get a comfy chair to sit it. And I agree with Rhonda in the comment below about buying the second leather chair. They are exquisite, and I bet you'd end up using it in the office eventually! Fabulously done, as always!

Fantastic job Drew. You have created something special. Get yourself a carved wooden throne to use as a desk chair. It's good to be King.
I caught myself saying out loud to myself: never break up a pair!
Yes, I was thinking the same thing as I was watching. I think that second chair will be perfect.
Yes this!! They were too pretty to separate 😭
Don’t worry I grabbed the other 😅 Picked it up before this edit was posted!!

Beautiful, I love the old world look! You always get it right😊
a tall oversized upholstered wing chair as a desk chair would look fab! Love your channel Drew
YES! On caster wheels of course! 😉👍
@@donnaconrad6212 absolutely!
Your eye for design is incredible. Thanks for sharing your talent and beautifully serene home with us 💞
This was just beautiful.
Thanks again for all your hard work
Love the light! It mimics the sconces you took down, which I love as well. Wish you had left those up, but still a Great Makeover!!!
Well done! Now we look forward to what chair you will find that can support a 4 hour editing session comfortable,as well as satisfy your estetics. Good luck!
Love the mirror ❤❤❤
Your home is beautiful. I love everything you've done.
Painting the exterior now? It will be gorgeous for sure!
Drew 👏 excellent outcome, you have vision, you have eclectic style, you are so gifted. You did such a great job. I can’t wait to see your magic touch to transform Marie’s bedroom.
I love your office space. It is styled but not cluttered. It is inspiring!
I love how you show others…that new doesn’t mean better! I absolutely love your desk! Drew you definitively have a wonderful talent…your home is beautiful!
I can't even describe how I am blown away with how you put it all together. The colors, the mix match decor, the lighting, the vibe is fantastic!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Drew is beautiful sweetheart 🥰what a wonderful treat you bring us. Nothing more captivating than vision.
Thank you ❤
I Love what you did in the office. The light fixture, the sconces, the chairs…especially the rattan (dreamy) and the table lamp is everything. What a great job 👏🏽 🎉😊
The chair is awesome
So dang gorgeous Drew! Everything about it is fantastic!
Gorgeously masculine yet soft and rich. Love it!! 🥰❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I'm really surprised you didn't make the window pane panels. After doing the ceiling, it would have been a walk in the park. You're EXTREMELY talented 😊
I thought the same thing. He needs to do it and film a diy video for us!
Hello Drew, can I just say, everything you design is BRILLIANT! I could never pick just one room in your home because I love them all.
