I love to heard all your knitting plans… keep updating us please!😊
I will!🥰
You are so beautiful with the wedding dress! U look like an Ice Princess ❄️ i would personally finish everything that i know what to do.. all the sure parts and then in the meantime think about the rest of it❤
Thank you so much! I think it will fit a winter wedding perfectly🥹❤️ My problem is that I don't know what to do from here😅
It's always fun to catch up with you. I also have enough yarn for all my projects this year and I keep reminding myself of it. Did you see that dress Sandnes Garn shared? I'll send to you on Instagram. Reminded me of your wedding gown. I think your dress should be whatever you love it to be. Simple elegance is beautiful too. All the best, Kimberly
I saved a cable sweater recently which was lightly felted. I shave lightly all the sweater and then hand wash it and block it. Now, it's perfect.
Yay! Im so glad you managed to save it! How did you shave it?
Du burde prøve musselburgh hat. Det er en veldig bra oppskrift. Perfekt for rester og flere strikkefastheter. :)
Takk for tipset!
Could you use the 100g left over from the Sophie Shawl to make long fingerless gloves/wrist warmers to go with it? I really want to make the Zipper sweater too but I’m not sure I have the skills. I just swatched for Cardigan No. 8 for my daughter in law. She is so knit worthy ❤
I’m almost to the decreases on an Oslo Hat. Also knitting socks for a 6 yr old. It’s finally cooled here and the mojo is very strong! I think your sweaters are beautiful! The Dagmar is quite popular and I love the color you chose!
Maybe! It would make quite thick fingerless gloves, though🤔
I hope you get the confidence to make yourself a Zipper Sweater one day! It really isn't as hard as it looks!!
Knitting for knit worthy people is the best!
Thank you so much! I hope you keep your knitting mojo high going forward and have so much fun with all the knitting❤️
Did you wash it in a special wool program or in the normal one? I'm just interested, lovely sweater ☺️
My washing machine has a program called "ullvugge" which means it gently rocks the wool while washing🥰
Maybe some Christmas decorations with your scraps?
Good idea! Do you have any favorite patterns for ornaments?
Hei! Kjedelig at ulla di blir tova i vask!!
🙌🏻👏🏻👍🏻
Hei!
🤞🏻 Krysser fingra for oss begge framover!
What a shame about Daisy felting 😳 - and pilling. Disappointing.
Have you washed Nord in the machine? I don‘t understand it being marketed as a sock yarn when it specifically says it should be hand-washed, so I‘ve been avoiding it… it looks like it would felt really easily.
I just made seat pads in Drops Snow for my daughter and family and they worked out really well 😊It was the first time I felted anything.
Have you timed yourself sewing in ends?! I bet you are surprised at how little time it takes and that could motivate you 😉
Yes, it really was🫠 I had hoped the felting would help the pilling, but alas..
I'm pretty sure I have washed Nord in the washing machine, but not more than once or twice. I have some socks in drops nord, and they have not felted in the washing machine, but they are pretty close to being felted at the heel, ect, from wearing them.
I have tried to time myself, but I get so easily distracted and end up doing everything else at the same time, too, so I can't get a representative time😅😂
could you use some of your scraps to make stripey slippers if you are going to be felting the project anyway?
I could! But I don't have any scraps left in the right gauge, as the Slippers are made in Nepal too
What double pointed needles did you get?
I got KnitPro Symfonie 15cm DPNs
I think you just knit right in front of him and wherever and don’t say anything about it, if he asks what you are knitting just say it’s for yourself or another person in your life that he wouldn’t guess …. I think it will be hard to get it done in a month without him seeing it so seems easier to just fake him out 😂
@heatherr9201 I would do that if I could! Unfortunately, he's too interested in what I do😂 He very well knows it's the same yarn and colors I made mine and my son's melange sweaters in. I could maybe fool him for a bit, but he would realize once it started really looking like a sweater😅
