Exciting Plans! My plans change about 5 times a day... I have to make my boys their long promised Selene Junior and Celeste Junior. Not sure what I am casting on next for myself. Sooo many things I want to knit! For the beautiful hand dyed yarn - depending on yardage you might have just enough for a Lento. Needs mohair but I can recommend the pattern and I love lightweight fluffy sweater like that. I have a second one on my list. If you get a different dye lot for the blue marius I would actually use that for the colourwork and if need be for the ribbing. I think if the body and sleeves can be the same that would look best.
So exciting! I'm definitely in the same boat with my plans changing all the time, they've changed a bit already😅 But I like having a plan to look to so I can see what I've been wanting to make for some time so I know I really want it and I'm not just easily influenced😅🙈 Celeste Junior definitely needs to be added to my list though! My son's going to have sweaters for the next 3 yrs after this fall, haha! I'll look into the lento! Thanks for the tip! And I think you're right about using another dyelot for the colorwork so the body and sleeves look the same!
Hi, I'm a new subscriber and I just love your knitting and your adorable personality! I will not be yelling at you: please trust yourself and cast-on for those intimidating socks when you are ready 🧦❤😺
I’m currently working on my Olympic Lillehammer sweater and she is going pretty slow but steady (3 weeks of work so far😭) one thing I love to knit is colour work and intarsia. It’s heavy duty work but I’m so gosh darn proud of myself🥹 Steeking will chew me alive but it’s a part of the process. I’m too excited to see you work on the Marius sweater!!✨
The Olympic sweaters are next level colorwork!! You should be so proud of yourself❤️ Steeking is super scary! Good luck🥰 I need to find more knitting time so I can get to all my plans!🍂
After being inspired by you, I am knitting the Sunday Sweater in a combination of Drops Air and Drops Alpaca Silk (similar colour to the one you knitted for you friend). I'm loving how it knits up and it's going to be so warm!
Dear Oline, thank you for your inspiring videos. Going through stash and planning projects is one of the most joyful things among knitting of course. I am excited to see your plans being worked up 🎉 My plans are to finally finish a selfdrafted brioche cardigan that lingers for a while and the Book Club Cardigan by Sari Nordlund (so far a lot of fun!) and then the Ginny by Andrea Mowry for it looks perfect for autumn walks. A traditional colour work would be amazing - Järbo has a free pattern, the Saga kofte, which is beautiful and contains a lot of challenges to master... so I will keep watching it until I am brave enough. Happy knitting 🧶 🐑
I have had the yarn and pattern for the wishbone sweater by kutovakika for ages but have been waiting for autumn to make it, very excited as I’ve loved it since I first saw it! Also think cables are perfect for autumn, enjoyed hearing all your plans x
When it comes to cable sweaters, I highly recommend considering Sari Nordlund pattern - she has a lot to offer in this matter ❤ All of your plans are great! Happy fall knitting to you!
You can use tynn peer gynt for Norma Sweater from MFTK held together with mohair :) Thanks for the podcast, i love watching you and see all your ideas :)
Love the idea of preparing a plan by knitting categories (color work, cable, lace etc) and up the game by challenge type you would like to accomplish. A lot of knitting nights on your radar....:) Since you are using Drops yarn , have you thought about scrolling all their free pattern to inspire your knit plans?...... Great resource to make more plans :)
I too needed a cable sweater in my wardrobe so last week I cast on a lime green Lauder v neck which is by Rebecca Clow (the creabea) I've just joined in the round and I've loved every stitch so far xx
I love everything of course. Love the reds. I'd like to make an agnete sweater, Olga cardigan and a friday slipover. I love Petitknit patterns. They're so fun! Have a great weekend, thank you for the time. - Kimberly
I'm loving the reds lately too! Can't get enough! Oooooh, I love your plans! Some of my favorite Petiteknit Patterns for adults! And I agree about Petiteknit, she has easy to follow, fun knits! Have a great week!
Lots of plans!! My suggestion for your Soft Sparrow yarn is a Musselburgh hat and matching gloves/mittens for yourself. The Twist Loop sweater would look lovely in that Burgundy yarn. I'm making socks and a blanket this fall. Have a great week❤❤
Love seeing all of your plans! I love that Sweater #29 and have added it to my queue. I plan to order Drops Air (they are having a sale) in their beautiful orange mix colorway and I picture using that for it. This fall I plan to knit lots of socks , since for my birthday I got lots of sock yarn skeins in fun colors so I plan to do lots of stripes and colorwork. I am looking forward to knitting the Stick Season sweater out of Drops Daisy that I have in their lovely caramel color, and plan to knit as many Emotional Support chickens as I can to give as Christmas gifts! Will be knitting other sweaters and vests as well for myself, patterns to be decided. I LOVE the Fall!!
Amazing, all those plans!! 😍😍😍 As for me, as I could only knit two pieces this summer, I will continue knitting summer pieces this winter to be ready for next summer 😁😁. By the way, I find a lot of inspiration on Hobbii, and I absolutely fell in love with the Laurie Sweater, which I plan to cast on in September. thanks for the video 😍💕
Love hearing all your plans! Like you, i can't wait to see how many of those projects you actually get to. I'm gift knitting and working on a secret christmas project. Hoping to get back to my cozy memories blanket soon.
Thank you! I have made my fiancé a few sweaters, and he's pretty adamant that he doesn't want more (except for the Melange Sweater I've talked him into) Most of the sweaters I've made him was before I started TH-cam tho! But I made him a Marius Sweater pretty soon after we started dating, and I've made him a Zipper Sweater, and a Zipper Sweater Light. He loves them, and wears them a lot, but keeps telling me that he has enough. And he's not much of a knit socks or beanie guy, so I don't get to knit for him often❤️
Ooo this got me really excited for autumn knitting!! 😄 I recently finished my first hot water bottle knit which was really quick and easy (took me a week & I'm not usually a fast knitter) -- I used a free Ravely pattern by Emily Bolduan (Maker Maker) called Hot Water Bottle Cover. It made SUCH a good present for my sister
@@norwegianknitter yes cool❤️, my knitting plans are: the storm sweater- halibut sweater- bookclub cardigan and fields day cardigan😅 and finish my tenane v neck. I am glad that we have long winters in Jämtland
Hi, Oline! If you are thinking about lace knitting, you might be interested in a shawl Through The Gate Gently by Romi Hill. It is a fairly simple, repeatable pattern, and can be made not only from mohair, but also from thin wool. Romi's patterns are very well described, and this one is not as difficult as it seems. My plans for this autumn: 1. Color Popportunity Wrap by Stephen West (I have already started making it from Drops Alpaca) 2. Eva Cardigan (PetiteKnit) - I think I'll add pockets to it 3. Sweater for my son - I'm still looking for inspiration... 4. I want to finish my Acorn Sweater from Yunko Okamoto - I make it from Lama Tweed by CaMaRose
Hi! Thanks for the Shawl suggestion🥰 I've never knit a proper shawl before, this is the sort of challenge I want this fall! It looks amazing! I love your plans! Eva Cardigan with pockets is genius❤️
Good plans! Quite a lot! I have never tried steeking myself yet but am interested to try so I watched some videos about it and they often advise to use sticky woollen yarn which superwash is not, is it? Tricky…
Thank you! Superwash would probably make steeking a bit more complicated? But I think my grandma and a friend of mine has steeked superwash yarn before, more than once. So it's definitely possible🥰
i agree with you about Fall being also my favorite season, nice knitting plans you have, I know you can design your own sweater, I hope you write down the pattern, I volunteer to be a test knitter for you, what ever happened to you making a blue and white Melange sweater for your fiance? is he not on your favorite knitting list? lol
Thank you! I'll write down as I knit, and if I'm happy with the result, it might become a pattern. I'm really on the fence about learning to grade patterns, though 😅 I am making my fiancé a white and blue melange sweater, but he's not really eager for more knits, so I'm not stressing about it
Juzia and Malwina by Vert and rose are fun but practical patterns with lace sections. And SpringOfLoveSweater by Jill Karina Bø is something I would consider for hand dyed yarn.

Could you use the dark green for a cable sweater maybe? I know it won't show up as well with it so dark but it would be pretty.
It would be pretty! I'll have to make a swatch to see if the structure would be visible enough for me🥰

Love when you do these videos. So inspiring for me. Your porcelain sweater is lovely
These are some of my favorites to watch too!! So much fun to see others plans🥰

Seeing how much I can get to cast On is almost the most exciting part, haha!
Your projects sound fun!! Good luck!
That yarn that's sock yarn would make a great vest, great layering piece.
Or with a long t shirt
Ooo yes! I think it's destined to become a layering piece!
I love all of your planned knits. I love how excited you get. I was just wondering if you ever knit anything for your fiancé. Did I miss it ?
Thank you! I have made my fiancé a few sweaters, and he's pretty adamant that he doesn't want more (except for the Melange Sweater I've talked him into) Most of the sweaters I've made him was before I started TH-cam tho! What about some slipovers with the yarn that you are unsure about the yardage for sweaters? Love the plans❤
That's a good idea if it's not enough for a sweater!! Thank you❤️
You could use your two hand dyed skeins to make a ranunculus. It has lace :)
That would be fun! I've heard a lot about the ranunculus!

Yay!! Autumn knitting is so much fun!
Now I want to make a water bottle cover too🙈 They seem so cozy🥰 Thanks for letting me know about the pattern!

I want to make one!❤️

How is the levitate wrap going? Is it an easy knit??
@jowood3541 I've separated for sleeves quite recently! So far, it's been an easy knit, but I know a lot of double knitting is coming up😅
Juzia and Malwina by Vert and rose are fun but practical patterns with lace sections. And SpringOfLoveSweater by Jill Karina Bø is something I would consider for hand dyed yarn.
Thank you for the suggestions!!
Can we bring back the word Autumn? It sounds so much nicer than Fall 😅
It does have a nice sound! I think it's a difference between British and American English?
