- / oasisnotizie For a third year in succession, Noel Gallagher joins Steve Lamacq with a sack full of records to soundtrack the BBC 6 Music Drivetime Christmas Party... and talk about his year in music.
Expect leftfield sounds and forgotten gems which Noel has dusted off from his collection. Previously we've been treated to alternative 60's cuts from The Velvet Underground and The Animals, alongside crackers from The Kitkats, Gino with Johnny The Greek and Kid Koala. So expect the same psychedelic sounds this time around.
Steve will chat to Noel about his world tour with The High Flying Birds, which ended in September after nearly two years on the road, taking in festivals and arenas on nearly every continent.
Plus we'll have Noel's thoughts on the biographical Oasis film Supersonic which came out earlier this year. And Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without the annual Gallagher festive rant...

He's never done a bad interview
Had to keep pausing this interview numerous times to Google various bits of info that cropped up. Never much liked Oasis in their day but have grown to love them only because of Noel and his fantastic outlook on life and binge watching a bunch of his interviews. Never boring.
It's funny how his disdain for Phil Collins has endured.

Noel Gallagher must knock out more than 200 interviews a year and still manages to make every single one intersting and funny. Steve Lamacq is an unfortunate looking guy and has the perfect face for radio. Sadly for me at the Oasis wembley 2000 concert i got told i looked like handsom steve, while it enabled me to get right to the front blagging i was steve lamacq from radio one it done nothing for my confidence when i found out how ugly the guy was... Bitter sweet times.

loved the interview up until his attack on Genesis who in fact Noel are a bigger and better band than you could only wish to be in !!! its the disrespect for one one of the biggest and best bands ever that gets me !!!
