The bit when he's talking about being in the same club as the Spice Girls while on a team night out with Fulham and thinking I was on a building site 2 months ago just shows what hard work and dedication can get you. An inspiration big man.
Loved the Horse at Albion. 110% player with a canny knack of scoring important goals. What he’s done outside of football is even more legendary. Top bloke. Great banter
I am a Birmingham fan, Geoff was absolutely brilliant for us, he's still a legend one of my favorite ever players, we've had more skillfull players, we've had better players, but not many who tried harder than him and that's all any fan wants, great bloke, great player. Love him.
Villa fan in peace here. Always begrudgingly admired Hors during his time with Blues. After watching this there is no longer the ‘begrudging’ prefix on that - what a bloke!
@@TokyoJoe703 In certain areas it could happen. Aston/Erdington and the surrounding areas are absolute shitholes. I used to live there. Far few shooting in recent years
Birmingham fan here, he's right Bluea and Villa hate each other and he was one of them that completely understood and played with his heart on his sleeve all the time, legend
Ive caught this channel late, had an accident in Jan and im still goosed, yet these have been a god send, and this fella rocks, what an absolute legend of a man. Live Long and Live Large Big Man
He mentioned a semi final against Ipswich, in that game Geoff was a monster, a absolute beast, they just gave the ball to him and he held it up and nobody got it off him and he scored a brilliant goal. Brilliant he was
Great listen. It was only a small part of it, but the part about the Christmas when he was at Leeds was interesting. Dennis Wise tells it differently, but I know who I believe, and it's nor Mr Wise.
What a great bloke he seems to be. Seen him twice in brum, once he was holding on to a pillar to stop him falling over and once in the casino. A likeable bloke even though I'm a Villa fan . UTV. Keep up the good work Geoff.
Geoff Horsfield. . . . . The "post football "work he talks of at the end of this podcast is first class. Comes across amusing, grounded and humble, what a guy.
I met Geoff in players lounge at deepdale ... He'd done his hammy playing for west Brom v north end in FA cup ... He had time for everyone ... What a good lad 🏴🤝🏴
That's my Tuesday morning sorted, nice work as ever guys. Horsfield was a grafter and would always put himself about. The sort of player who'd happily mix it to benefit the team but wouldn't always get the credit he deserved (Similar to Shipperley) Guys please get Andy Thorn on he must have some cracking tales from yester year
ANOTHER wonderful podcast. Geoff (btw, I do wish my team Preston had signed him & especially before he joined Fulham from Halifax) comes across as a lad that we all wish we had as a friend. His new project sounds perfect for the chap who just wants to make a difference to people's lives. I wish him all the very best 👍
Top top man Horse. Decent solid player, down to earth and kept true to himself with the charity work. Really enjoyed this one lads. Enjoyed them all but this one specially. He comes across as decent lad, I bet he'd be great to go for a pint with.
I'm from Halifax and you can tell a bit of the town's rubbed off on Geoff, he sounds just like my uncle! "Keegan came in, bump...I'm giving what you were on at Halifax...boom...bump, went down Fulham and boom. Christophe Dugarry, boom!"
So hard for one person too make a living on youtube doing a podcast let alone three ppl, i hope someone from tv/radio steps in to help fund the guys because they are head and shoulders above owt else in what they are doin, good luck lads 👍🏽
Totally agree. If you like football, love stories and banter this podcast site is the best on air. These guys are F@&£ing brilliant at getting the best out of their guests.
Louie Barry left West Brom for Barcelona’s academy at the age of 16, a year later he signed for his boyhood club Aston Villa. He scored against Liverpool in the fa cup this season at villa park.
Can remember big Horse back in the day, good old-fashioned striker who scored a lot of goals in the second tier, can remember him at Fulham, Birmingham and West Brom. Was on checking his stats, 178 goals in 558 games are decent numbers, not a lot of goals in the top league but no disgrace because he banged them in the Championship and League One and although he played with some big clubs once they're up they become relegation favourites, but he should be proud of his career. I can't believe he's the same height as me, I always thought of him as a big dude but he's not even 6ft, not far off it likes but he was strong as an ox. Knew this would be a good one, he's just as you would expect a funny, laid-back normal bloke! - loved the stories, the one about the team bus and Jim Gannon is brilliant, going from non-league to working under Keegan, the Barnsley brickie and the brilliance from Bordeaux. not knowing who Duggary and Karl Heinz Riedle are but the best one was that double denim, white socks, Liz Hurley, Spice Girl's night out...Hilarious!!
Geoff is and always will be a fulham legend.like hodgson didn’t like Bullard tigana didn’t like horse and got Saha in which obviously worked out ok but for a couple of seasons horsfield was magic
The bit when he's talking about being in the same club as the Spice Girls while on a team night out with Fulham and thinking I was on a building site 2 months ago just shows what hard work and dedication can get you. An inspiration big man.
Such a funny, intelligent, fair, humble guy. Will always be a legend in the West Mids especially for his work with the homeless. Iconic.
I am privileged to know you Geoff love you loads no edge to you at all bless ya xxx

Villa fan in peace here. Always begrudgingly admired Hors during his time with Blues. After watching this there is no longer the ‘begrudging’ prefix on that - what a bloke!
Bobby Turkalino was Hors talking shit when he said he would’ve got stabbed or shot around villa turf?

So happy to hear this. I went to the same school as Geoff and always loved his story.
Bloody brilliant lads. Big Geoff has a heart of gold.
Brilliant episode. Love the banter stories and all that, but it's so good to hear the passion Geoff has for helping folk. Top man.
He mentioned a semi final against Ipswich, in that game Geoff was a monster, a absolute beast, they just gave the ball to him and he held it up and nobody got it off him and he scored a brilliant goal. Brilliant he was
Done so much for the homeless. Big man great stories but the measure of the man is his foundation maximum respect to him.
Great listen. It was only a small part of it, but the part about the Christmas when he was at Leeds was interesting. Dennis Wise tells it differently, but I know who I believe, and it's nor Mr Wise.
Just watched. Apr 2021. Top 5 best 2hours plus of my last year in lockdown. What a bloke.

Blues legend! KRO! Great podcast 👍
West Brom fan here and I must say that we loved Gary Megson at the Albion
Great person and remember him well
Yeah, surprised Geoff said that. Albion fans love Megson and it's no big secret. He single-handedly turned our club around.
Great podcast lads great listening to geoffs storys

I’ve just started watching under the cosh videos, they are really enjoyable to watch and Geoff on this one is fantastic, well done to all the team😊
Geoff sat in double denim with the Spice Girls killed me 🤣
Typical Barnsley man 👌🏻
No nonsense - normal person, love to see it.
Good episode as always lads, any chance of getting Andy Johnson on from West Brom as well? Heard he’s a good laugh.
