- This video tutorial will show you how to crochet the posted brick stitch. This stitch involves alternating front and back post double crochet to create a fun brick like texture. hello. just found this awesome pattern. i started it and it is cool.. just 1 question... each time i turn, on the fp and bp, if the 1st 3 stitches are bp, do i do the fp in those at the beg. and vise versa when i go back the other way?

Hello just saw this pillow example but can you say what type of yarn you use and hook ...plus finish by showing how you made the pillows not just the stitches.

For row 1, can we do a double crochet foundation chain rather than chaining and then double crocheting? I'm still very new to crochet, so don't know all the knitty gritties :)

For the ends of my row i am not ending up with a number of 3 last front double crochets? Is that okay?? Or will that mess up the pattern? Some rows have only 1 or 2 posts left, but not 3. I don’t know what i’m doing wrong.

this looks like more of a basket weave stitch not a brick stitch
It does sort of look like the basketweave stitch! I think the number of rows and the pattern repetition is changed though, which is why they look more blocked, rather than weaved!
