Hell yeah! My buddy lives in OR near where they have Dune Fest every year. I’ve been out to see him a couple times a year recently. Coincidentally, this trip is to locate some rails. Planned that before these vids. The universe is funny sometimes.
Old man I know that builds street rods, when he gets stuck, grabs a 6’ stepladder and a pack of smokes and a beer and perches on top of the ladder. Says sometimes you just need to get a different look at things…..lol always knew if bob was on top of the ladder to walk quietly and don’t bother….lol

Awesome video! If you don't like sand rails, don't watch. I enjoy anything that Fab Rats does! It's a lot of fun to watch. Boys with their toys. Thank you for sharing this journey with sand rails.!😊
No Landon is going to tech school for auto mechanics. So he is learning all sorts of stuff in school and applying it at the home shop. Yes Dad has taught him a lot. But he's definitely learning a lot from school. He hardly spends any time in the shop as it is.

I was able to stop by the garage/shop today! I had the pleasure of being able to meet Paul, Shawn, and Hunter today. What a bunch of great guys! Took some time out of their very busy day to talk with me and my two kids as well! Meeting them made the whole trip from Iowa down here to Southern Utah for our spring break vacation! Thanks again, guys, for taking the time to chat!
Loving these "quick builds" on each rail .. this really is what us viewers would be doing in our garages if we weren't sitting on our couch watching you!!! Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
So awesome that you and Michelle support your kids in their athletics or school activities. I come from a broken home. Even though my dad and mom are still alive, their inability to get along really impacted my sister and I. I could watch Jase scooping rebounds and shooting hoops all day, with Michelle hollering in the background. Keep on being great parents, and you do pretty good with this here YT channel too.
This sand rail takeover of the Fab Rats Shop is just way too much fun! I can't wait to see some of the video from Glamis when you get to really test them all out! Hunter, I hope you get your gear shift lever all sorted out before you head out to Glamis! And the look on 'cool man' Jase when he drove his rail was priceless! I think he is going to have fun at Glamis!!
I love it all. Sand rail tow truck all of it. You have the most interesting videos. Was nice to see your other half driving her rail. Great family times.
I love Gracie's pup, and hope Grader is feeling better. I bet Sam is super happy seeing his parts bringing Landon's sand rail together. The only thing I keep thinking of is putting some tubing around the rear of the transmission to protect it in case it gets bumped or bashed hard. It would also help to have proper tow points on each of the rails as well as have lights so you can go wheeling at night. It sure is good to see all hands on deck, Hunter's facial expressions are hilarious! Thanks for the great editing and for taking us along.
Geez‼️‼️🙄🙄 all the complainers on here. Don’t like it,, “turn the channel” crybabies . What would you have done in the 70’s or 80’s when there wasn’t anyone to complain to except your mom and she’d just tell you get your ass off the couch n go play,,, IN THE SAND‼️‼️‼️ I for one think it’s great, getting ready for the sand, spending time with family!! Great video! The editing and music were so good. Love to see Jace's skills on the basketball court. He is amazing! Can't wait to see all of you in Glamis. Going to be fun!
One of Paul's strengths is "conceptualization." He can build the picture of what he wants in his mind and then has the fabrication skill set to make it happen.
On the wrecker and mud. If you spray the undercarriage down with pam it will make it very easy to wash mud out of them tight spots on wrecker. I used this method long ago on my dirt bikes.
Ya if you look at 43:30 when they flipped the rear end upside down it reversed the camber too. Its Wide at the top/positive camber & narrow/negative camber at the bottom.
