Here’s some info from their website. I don’t think it weighs that much compared to a saddleback water bag in the same dimensions. I’m a huge fan of Saddleback, but I love the pullup on this duffel. Short on their new DCB nothing compares the the pullup. Cylindrical shape 13" wide x 21" long when closed. Total weigh 4.56 pounds, including the strap. 100% full grain cow hide. Lifetime free repairs. Reinforced at every stress point by a rivet. Industrial thread. Adjustable strap.
I asked for you and it’s what I was thinking, here’s their reply “Yes same with Dave’s from saddleback, his leather is pricy and top quality. People think vegetable is more expensive but it is not. Some vegetable tanneries are highly inefficient. The fact is that they are not able to apply oils and waxes like the chrome tanneries do. Choke tanneries have spent millions of dollars in equipment. Chrome tanneries have waste water treatment plants and they recycle the water after they use it several times. Vegetable leather is beautiful Iove the ways it ages but I also like the oil tanned leather.”
@@LeatherHeadReviews sounds like a salesman's reply. He's comparing grade A chrome to D grade vegetable tanned. Any vegetable tan from a reputable tannery will be more expensive just by economy of scale. You can tan a lot more chrome in the time it takes to do veg. Compare prices within the same company. Horween makes both. The cost difference is evident. Its roughly twice the price. Ya I agree, poorly tanned veg from Brazil and sold at Tandy is cheaper than quality oil tan. But it's apples to oranges.
Hey Freddy, I just looked it up. Pretty nice as well. I do like the closure on the Yor Leather duffle a little better. It has the attached clip to keep the bag Secure without the strap on it and not needing to add a padlock to it. Comes in real handy when you’re checking the bag, just takeoff the strap tuck it inside then attach the clip. Pretty nice handle on the Go Forth though.
Yeah, so what happened was my card was billed for less than the site had it posted for. Thinking they didn’t charge me enough l called them. Yor Leather gave me the heads up they charged me for the Canadian equivalent to IS dollars
The bag has held up nicely. Depending on the saddleback color (DCB is really bad at scratching up) it does better at not showing scratches. Also it’s half the price of a waterbag
Yor Leather makes two the standard and a mini. This is the standard at 21” long and 13” high. It’s a little longer than Saddlebacks medium waterbag. Hope this helps
I have been curious about Yor. Thanks for the review.
I really like the shade of this. Any idea how much it weighs?

Leather Head thank you for the info. Agreed the pull up is incredible!!Price is nice for the size, too!
Check out my newest video of Yor Leather Duffel bag. They did a special run of cedar for me and that bag looks amazing
You mentioned this is made in old Mexico? Do they use a similar leather to saddleback?
How much clothes can you put in this bag?
It holds quite a bit, definitely a weeks worth. Also for a storage I put a king size comforter in there
Very nice
What kind of leather and weight?

Check out Go Fourth Goods. They have this bag but in better design.
Thanks for the heads up, I’ll check them out

@@LeatherHeadReviews thank you
Anytime!

Yeah right; no way in hell I'd hand something that nice to airline baggage handlers... I wouldn't let that thing out of my sight!
Don Z it would be tough to check it
Don Z I agree 100 percent the bag is beautiful
Thanks, I ordered another one in cedar and just did a review of it
