He's adorable & so very lucky you found him. With those little short legs they do tire out a little quicker. Also, just getting over an illness that was from the sound of it pretty close to taking his life he's still recovering. 37:38😡😤 38:23 😡😩 💩 these moments. STOP HITTING HIM and yelling at him. He is a dog, He doesn't understand. Doing that only instills anxiety and fear in him. Dogs need positive reinforcement. You give him a treat and tell him he is a good boy when he does the right things.
But he does not associate your yelling and hitting with needing to change a behavior. All he thinks is that you are sometimes nice and sometimes mean and scary. It's confussing and hurtful to him.
If you can't learn to teach him with positive reinforcement and patience then you don't deserve to have him. He isn't doing whatever behavior you're pulling his neck and yelling at him and slapping him in the face for because he is bad or purposely being defiant. He doesn't process your punishment the way an adult human does! There are too many hurt, broken, and confused animals in this world. You do not have to nor should you break him down or abuse him to train him to stop certain behaviors! Stop that immediately! Please!!
Don't you see the fear and anciety in his eyes when you do that. Not okay!! Please, go take him and yourself to loving dog trainer to help teach you how to kindly, lovingly and humanly train him. And stop humilating, berating, and scaring him. He is a sweet, good boy who has gone through too much already. Love him and train him with patience and kindness.
