One question before I listen to the whole interview. Does she get into any detail(s) as to why she doesn't like Stephen A Smith? Because I can't stand that clown and I'd love to hear what she doesn't like about him. To see if we agree on anything. On a side tangent.... IDK how anyone can watch him and mad dog yell at each other for 2+ hours. I get a headache just watching one segment on TH-cam.

Good point about TNT…that crew’s flow, comfort and chemistry has been gold. ESPN’s teams often feel like they’re pushing so hard to take some sort of controversial stance or create their own battles and overtalk points they want to make. Chemistry is tough to create with out time on air and some longer term relationships.

Yep… have to admit that Beadle, on Countdown, was entertaining, down to earth and not stuck on herself. She had great chemistry with the male crew of Jalen, Pierce and Chauncey. Countdown now - well, Jalen is good and Greeny is tolerable.
As for Rachel Nichols- of course capable of the jobs she held but she also had this air of entitlement because of how she got into the business and it’s unfortunate/fortunate that her “real” self was exposed (just how some white folk feel when a co-worker is in line for a promotion)- and the ESPN managers fucked up handling her and Maria Taylor - who is good- but quickly got a little full of herself- asking “Stephen A.” money instead of taking the $5 Million annual contract that was initially on the table. Now - Rachel is out of work (albeit with a settlement)and you hardly see Maria Taylor anymore after extremely high visibility at ESPN. Folk don’t realize how good they have it in a volatile industry.🤔

That trio and a revolving sports guest depending on the bulk of the sports topic, could have been something close to the TNT NBA show. Mind you, I did say close, as in a close second not close to threatening TNT. But no, guys like Steven A. Smith or back when they still had Skippy Baseless(Bayless), had the sports honchos at ESPN groveling over their supposed on air talent. Between Smith and Baseless I'm not sure which one had the top crown for blowhard know the sport better than the players and coaches. What ESPN has now for the NBA season is something that TNT could look over their shoulders and say they're bringing up the rear and staying put just nicely.

She also mentioned she doesn't like the way SAS treats people. Even though this happened after she left, she probably saw how SAS basically kicked Max Kellerman off First Take (even though the show was doing good ratings at the time) as further proof of that. When she was listing people she does like, she brought up Max's name, so she probably considers him a friend so SAS pushing him off the show, that was probably another instance where she went, "Yup, that's why him (SAS) and I don't get along."

Looking at this interview I want to see if her position will change, it seemed like she had her own problems with Rachel. Michelle Beadle kinda wants to use this time to get more clicks than dive into the situation at the time with all the new information that came out it's crazy to see how quickly Rachel was pushed out. I just want her back.

Also, people need to realize that Ernie, Kenny and Charles had been doing the show since 2000, 2001??? Then Shaq joined in 2010, 2011? Also, doing the early 2000’s Shaq and Charles would throw shots at each other on the show while Shaq was still playing for the Lakers and Heat. So they’ve basically know each other for 20 years.
