- 37. My 2005 IC CE 300 210 horse DT466E egr series
Allison 2000 series Transmission
In my last video I did a walk around of 37 after the head was redone but I didn't drive it so in this video I drove 37 down the highway and down some pretty rough back roads.
Even a 0-70 Acceleration
sounds like childhood 🥲
I rode quite a few of these 2005-06 CEs with the dt466e. I love how they sound.
My bus driver had the same exact bus. She was nice.
Love this bus. This brings me back to the 2005 / 2006 ic ce 300s that we had. Awesome video 👍
That bus sounds awesome with the straight pipe 6.7 Cummins sounds awesome 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎

When it accelerates at higher idle it sounds like a Maxxforce DT
Now why did you have to come and say all that. Lol just kidding
They’re the same engines lol except one is emissions compliant.
@@daytonelrod559 Almost sounds like the 7.6L MaxxForce DT I6 Twin-turbo Diesel
@@lijiang2743 Just no.
This is a good video this reminds me of the 2006 icce 300s buses I rode on before
I love school buses
This engine along with the Cummins are way better than maxxforce 7
Or any Maxxforce series engine. All of them sucked, even when properly maintained with parts from an authorized retailer (Trans-North gets their parts from WARD International).
@@LukiRudakanot true dummy
I drove a 2008 Ic 300 with macforce 7 it ran like a sowing machine best bus I ever drove it had great ac
shmovin
I rode one in HS
Sounds real good! 👌🏼
I never rode these bus in my childhood
I drew a dashboard of your school bus.
Yeah?
Yes the gauges and everything.
Dude you have no business
I love these sounds.👍 Also is this SC
Straight piped dt466e
I love watching your videos on 37 lol, it sounds so damn good... What do you plan on doing with the bus? Also, I see that the suspension is raised a little higher in the back than they normally are... Is there like a switch on the dash that adds/ removes air from the bags or is there a valve under the bus somewhere?
PS: I may end up buying a 2013 CE 71 pax in the next year or two... Has the maxxforce DT, freaking love that motor with a passion... I rode one when I was younger and they sound amazing (same as the 466) and they freaking MOVE!
Very nice 🎉
I got 80

DT466
Not a true DT466 but it brings back memories lol
Earned a sub ❤
Dude dans
Why was the engine fan running when it was cold?
Viscous fan clutch
Sounds more like a Maxxforce my dude
It's a 2004. The Maxxforce started in 2008 my dude
It's a DT466E with an EGR System.
I got a question is the water gauge broken or is it just low on water
What do you mean sir?
It's full of coolant. Are you talking about the temperature gauge inside the bus on the custer? And if so it reads accurate. I started the bus cold and it slowly warmed up as I drove
Ah ok yeah I was talking about the temperature gauge because it was low and the fan was running I was just curious
@@seanl258 The fan was running because when you cold start a vehicle equipped with a viscous clutch and the fan runs for 3-5 minutes, and it’s because the silicone seeps back into the center chamber as it cools and no inertial force is acting upon it. So when you start the engine, even if it’s warm but has sat maybe 20 minutes and the fan comes on, that is why. It’s just doing it’s normal thing.
@@BigeSnek same thing happens to my 89 S10 blazer you could start it in the middle of the winter when it’s like 10° and the fan will still run the fan in it is clutch driven
