Damn, House by the Cemetery is actually my favorite. I love the guitar tone and dark feel of it. The songs are there are devastating too!

House by the cemetery is by far their best album. The cover of procreation of the wicked kicks ass. So much so in fact that I had to personally ask Roger if that song had a live drummer instead of a drum machine. I mean that’s one of the best covers I’ve ever heard 🤘

Most redeeming tracks on Darkest Day of Horror for me - The Bloodseeker, Massacred, Rampage. The few slams those songs have are crushing and my favorite parts of the album.

Hacked up and chainsaw are two of the greatest albums I’ve heard
aweosome vid, you look like a member of Mortician in the thumbnail. i know what you mean about drkest day of horror. its a unique take. they recorded the guitars by mic the amp, tuned even lower and the title track darkest day of horror is totally rad. album is too short though. Domain Of Death is one i actaully like quite a bit and has grown on me. i like how it's very bassie with low bassy growls. i really like the guitar tone on chainsaw dismemberemnt and lots of songs with the 50 min length. also has lots of songs for fans of 80's slasher movies. i agree with you that hacked up for barbecue is really good and Zombie Apocolapse impresses me whenever i throw that one on too,
Revisiting; I actually like darkest day of horror allot. Very brutal and I like the vocals and sound all the songs are bangers
Ya for me personally, this is their second best tone from their catalog. Even the self title song from that album has such a uniquely beefy riff sequence

for me hacked up, chainsaw and house by the cemetery would be S . A- domain, mortal, zombie , B would b final bloodbath and re animated , C- darkest day and D the live cd (it really sounds strange at parts but damn that cd artwork looks so cool! Domain of Death has a special place for me because they coverd 2 songs from Austrian bands (i am austrian too) and one of those bands i know personally (Disastrous Murmur) . Man I am happy that I found your channel ! cheers

Darkest Day of Horror may be at D on the list, and rightly so. But dammit it's an S in my heart, along with every Mortician album lmfao. Lovely list btw!

Another good one, My boy. I personally woulda had Darkest Day on the C tier tho. That album really grew on me over time.
and it has those great promo photos and the whole neandrathal vocals blower bass tagline for the album.

Hell on Earth was my introduction to Mortician. I think Hacked Up and Zombie Apocalypse are neck and neck for my favorite. Their demos are right up there too though. Apart from those and Chainsaw I don't really revisit their other material much

I actually love Darkest Day of Horror. Final Sacrifice is one my favorite Mortician songs, hand's down. Additionally, the title track, Ghost House, Audra, and Massacred are all fantastic.
darkest day of horror is mixed incorrectly. they did something really cheap and dirty to save time when they mixed it i feel like. i would reckon however they mixed house by the cemetery album is similar to the way they mixed DDPOH.
I.M.O. the first half of Zombie Apocalypse has the best mortician sound and is the way they should have mixed all their albums. though blood harvest wouldnt be the jugguarnaut it is without the 2nd half of zombie apocalypse sounding the way it does (higher pitched squelchy? dunno how to describe but sorta like Exit 13's sound but much less pre amp distortion).
Good video , I like this tier list stuff, you should definitely do more of it. I'd really like to see your collection too, I imagine that it has grown a lot since that first live Q&A on Facebook where we get a glimpse of it.

For me, it’s between Chainsaw and Hacked Up for my pick of their best album. Chainsaw took the down-tuned brutality to another level but the songwriting and atmosphere of Hacked Up is just unmatched.

they changed the drum sound on that album to where you can really hear whats going on with the bass kick. i have more of an issue with whats been happening with the blast beats live with the high hat lately...

You lost me at House by the Cemetery. But I agree that reanimated dead flesh is hella underrated. It’s a mean ugly record.
for me they shouldve either not included the first 5 or 6 trax at all or rearranged their spot on the album as long as they werent together like they are at the beginning of the album. it took me years to give it a chance bacause i would hear the first handful of tracks and conclude the album was not inspired enough.
when it comes to the drum programming, reanimated dead flesh is by far the top peak of perfection for mortician.
As a life long fan or mortician I disagree with most of this list..plus it's missing the eps and splits,why include the double live and not the split live lp?? Amateur

I don't love mortician or anything . Music is simple , horror movie things are boring and thw lyrics are simple but certain songs are just really fucking fun . I wouldn't consider mortician a good band but it's a fun band
