@DrNefarious-rw1dm yeah New Vegas paints a picture that doesn't look good for the NCR, ironically enough nuking Shady Sands would only delay such issues because everyone would want revenge, if it say collapsed under its weight into smaller states/ NCR still exists but is limited to Southern California where it started that would be fine, but fuck the plot of the stupid TV show

You know, in theory, atleast, communism is a very good ideology. It lets all people be equal, and the pay gap becomes less. The Soviet Apartments, too, weren’t that bad, being a person that lived in one, they actually have a quite nice view of the city, and they’re cosy. In the Great Depression, the Soviet Union developed and industrialised more, doing the best, arguably, since instead of a free market, they had a controlled market, meaning that global collapse wouldn’t bring down the country.
It really has more potential than any US state if only they didn't kneecap themselves. Even then, despite the immense self-imposed issues it still manages to be the richest state by far. I imagine California would be a space age civilization otherwise, lol.
