Can comment regarding the fan noise? I plan to use a compact mixer like this in a solo acoustic setting, quiet listening audience. A fan would be distracting if it's not more or less whisper quiet. I can't find info in the Behringer PMP manual which discusses the fan operation, for example, whether it's variable speed and only ramps up when the amp is under load (as with my full band gig), or if the fan runs at a fixed speed all the time. Thanks in advance for an answer. Better yet, post a short video clip that shows the fan noise when running :-)

I don't hear the fan at all. It runs very cool when you are using it. That has to be the class D amps making it run so cool. I am still using it and am still very happy. Normally if i am DJing at a bar i keep the volume at 50% up or less depending on the size of the place and the amp stays cool.

yeah I never been in a quiet room i use it for being a moblie DJ so there is background noise all the time from people talking or what not. I just don't hear it. I am sure the fans will need cleaned someday like computer fans do. I just look thru the vents with a flash light every so often to see how the look.
