@@PluginAllianceTV lol. I have a bundle but as it ends up it’s probably the wrong bundle for me. I picked up the musicians bundle because im an electronica producer. I wanted access to the synths and the unfiltered audio stuff. I ended up buying some of the things i liked in the bundle but theres way too many peddle effects and amps that i wont use. Ive gone through them and while occasionally ill use amp sims its not too often. You don’t have an upgrade path that i can see that will let me go to the mastering bundle or Mega bundle from the Musicians bundle. Ive been downloading some demos and im starting to build a list of the plugins i think i want to eventually own but of course Id upgrade to another bundle if there was a path beyond just paying for an entirely new bundle.
like this guy. he really understands his stuff, beyond just the mechanical repetition of marketing slogans, like most people. i'm a sucker for consoles, as well. but i stay away from pa stuff, even though i have about half of them, because they don't have a tape insert after the preamp. using tape like that makes all the difference in the world, and really completes the console workflow. putting it after the channel strip just isn't the same. the only ones that do that are the mixhub and soc. if pa put an insert slot on their consoles, i'd be sold, for the sheer variation of consoles alone, not to mention the tmt. plus i really like that focusrite.

Super cheap with their PICK* vouchers if you find at least something else to stick in the cart.
Thank you for this. I am a novice. 😊
Great video! It is good to see this kind of real-life comparison between the different channel strips and hear the difference. Much appreciated!
Great video brother! best one i have seen. Keep it up really informative
Lindell 80 and SSL9000J but Lindell 80 is better for me!
I agree, but for this song I like the SSL9000J
so cool, i really like the 9000
Yeh that was my fav although the Lindel sounded great too.
Really great video, man. I still need the Lindell and a 9000. Gotta have 'em all!
Highly appreciate this! Thank you Plugin Alliance. Love the Lindell.
Great comparison, I use them too, on different tracks. And with TMT inside you have hundreds of different channel strips.
Given the amount of channel strips in PA bundle this video is super useful 👍👍👍
We're glad to hear it's helping. Thanks for the nice feedback!
Lindell 80 rules then the SSL 9000 J !
Thank you!
Muuuch more than another emulation; a channel strip host that let you plug in the components of a desk (ie bx bits) to mix your own channel strip. Eg click the compressor and load, vxs, 1176 etc, i like the 9098 hf and te pultec for low etc....now THAT would be useful and novel! Of course you start with the foundational shell and then add choices.
@Plugin Alliance...is it poss to provide links to the 4 examples as stereo hd 96k/24 stems so we can easily create comparison in our own DAW (to do blind tests)?
We really appreciate the nice feedback, and thanks for sharing your thoughts! For the samples you will have to ask Joe Carrell.
honestly I love all PA channel strips. I wish they made more compressors like a Distressor or 2500,3A,33609
Thanks for great feedback and letting us know!
Thank you for doing this straight forward , easy to understand comparison.
Great Video! Enlightening. Where/how would one place the lindell 50 and the Amek amongst the bunch?
You can try each of our plugins for 14 days to see and hear how they work for you and how they compare to existing plugins or hardware. Please check for yourself and let us know!
I like Focusrite and 9000 more than others. The sound so pleasing
I just picked up the SSl E. I got it on sale. I like the G more sonically but will wait until a sale. The J also sounds great so might get that instead
Awesome, thanks for your support!
Please also consider trying a bundle to save money and still use the plugins right away. You can cancel any time, if you feel this doesn't work for you, but if you stick with it, you'll get a voucher after one year, which you can use to buy full licenses.

Great video, thanks a lot. My fave is LINDELL 80, I just love what it does to the low end...
What a great video! I can see the benefit of the focusrite when I need to produce more Jazz 😁
We're glad to hear it helped. Thanks for the nice feedback!
like this guy. he really understands his stuff, beyond just the mechanical repetition of marketing slogans, like most people. i'm a sucker for consoles, as well. but i stay away from pa stuff, even though i have about half of them, because they don't have a tape insert after the preamp. using tape like that makes all the difference in the world, and really completes the console workflow. putting it after the channel strip just isn't the same. the only ones that do that are the mixhub and soc. if pa put an insert slot on their consoles, i'd be sold, for the sheer variation of consoles alone, not to mention the tmt. plus i really like that focusrite.
That 9000J sounded great for this song. It reminded me sonically of Take My Breath Away by Berlin.
Very useful comparison indeed. Could you also include API?
Very professional comparison, and true.
Thanks Joe, great lesson. Very eye/ear opening.
It would be awesome to see you guys get into api and more neve channel strips :)
MidniteBeats the API is coming! 😉 near future my friend.
We do! 😉
which one would you use for house and techno music?
Me personally?...the SSL9000 would be my beginning spot
This is was an amazingly clear comparison.
I enjoyed this one. More like this please! Pass the knowledge
We're on it. Stay tuned!
Just starting to decipher this stuff... thank you for the elegant, concise presentation! Loving the Lindell but also the N.
Great Way to explain and compare the sonic characteristics of each emulation. Really helpful. Thank you 🙌🏾.
I favourite is the SSL 4000 G Brown
Focusrite and SSL 9000
What a great video
Thank you very much!
excellent tutorial. I suggest they do it without background music
Track thru Neve(UAD or HW). Mix Thru SSL9000
HW you mean hardware?
Yep!
Currently I use the Chandler TG2 for all my tracking
